The tribe has spoken: Gary hung in a few weeks longer than it seemed he would, but the tribe finally sacked him. But before he went, he exposed Judd as a big, fat liar -- about lying. Judd bragged at tribal council that he hadn't lied yet in the game, but Gary angrily announced to the group that Judd had given them all a false clue to the mini-immunity idol. Judd had to grudgingly admit that he lied. It was a satisfying moment, but it was Gary's last. It'll be fun at the reunion to see what the others think when they discovered he himself had been lying all along, and is in fact ex-NFL quarterback Gary Hogeboom.
Pairing off: Judd and Stephenie have been the closest pair on this season of 'Survivor,' but when Cindy won the reward challenge, she chose Rafe, and they bonded closely. and It seems clear that there was another pair to be reckoned with.
Liar, liar, pants on fire: Judd was shocked that he wasn't informed about Jamie's vote-off last week, but he seemed to get over it quickly enough. He still thinks he and Steph have all the power, but after Gary exposed his lie about the idol clue, it remains to be seen if anyone else will take that lie personally.
The surprising contender: Rafe has won three individual immunities, and even he is shocked, laughing "who would see this little gay Mormon and think he was going to win?" It'll be interesting to see if Rafe and good pal Cindy can outlast the Judd-Steph duo.
Hunger makes people do crazy things: Lydia went after Steph in the reward challenge, complaining that Steph had won too many food rewards. That didn't appear to be her smartest move in the game so far -- Steph railed on her back at camp, and now Lydia is officially an outsider. And with Gary gone, it's not clear who she can ally with, other than Danni.
Running the show?: Unlike her Palau season, Stephenie seems to be much more in control this time around. But her power hasn't gone unnoticed: Lydia called her out at tribal council for "running the show," which Steph denied. But there's no real doubt she's in power and a bit cocky about it. Can she steer her friendship with Judd to the final two, or will she be sunk sometime before then?
Hair today: A shower and a few nights away from the jungle did Jamie and Bobby Jon well. When they walked in to tribal council to act as the jury, it looked like two members of The Strokes had showed up instead. Who knew they had such nice hair under all that sweat and grime?

Scumbags, man: Judd, the hotel doorman from New York, was voted out by his own alliance. Just as he didn't see the vote against Jamie coming, he had no idea the tribe was going to turn against him. He did not take the news well. "Thanks, guys. Hope you guys all get bit by a freakin' crocodile. Scumbags," he said. Then he repeated it as he took the walk of shame: "Scumbags."
How much is your wife worth?: The reward challenge was another "Survivor" auction. This time, though, producers got cruel. Besides bidding on food items, the final six's family members were also on the auction block. Judd won a night with his wife for $880, part of which he got from Cindy. He also was able to select two Survivors and their loved ones to join him; he picked Cindy and Steph. The remaining three had to go to the old tribe's abandoned camp for the night with "not so much as a hug," as Jeff Probst put it, a twinkle in his evil eye.
Trading spaces: The immunity challenge was a multi-level puzzle that closely resembled a challenge that was held on this summer's "Big Brother 6." Contestants moved from one tile to another on a giant board, and once someone stood on a tile, that space was out of play. Those with no possible moves were eliminated. Danni cashed in the "advantage" she purchased at the reward challenge and switched places with Steph, who'd actually been playing better, ultimately causing Steph to lose.
Danni makes a move: Even before winning immunity, Danni knew she was outnumbered by the alliance, so she worked to form a new alliance. "They can't all go to the final spot, it's just not going to happen," she said. She successfully played Steph and Rafe against Judd, and changed the game in her favor.
Too much information: When she woke up, Lydia started hallucinating, sort of. "I smelled sausage and eggs, I really did," Lydia said. "It's probably Steph farting again," Judd said, talking about the "egg smell first thing in the morning." Thanks for sharing.

The tribe has spoken: Cindy won the reward challenge, and a new Pontiac SUV. But then a twist: Jeff Probst pointed out that the person who wins the car has never won 'Survivor,' and offered her a deal. She could give up her car, in exchange, the other four would all get cars. Cindy said no, and kept the new vehicle for herself. That decision, and her strength in challenges, may have led to her ousting. Hope that's a million-dollar car.
No more Mr. Nice Guy: Rafe was shocked that Cindy didn't immediately give up her own car to gift the other four with cars. He kept saying that he would have done it instantly, and despite his earlier chumminess with Cindy, he voted her out.
Hitching a ride: Jeff Probst delivered a well-crafted dilemma to reward-challenge winner Cindy: You can keep your car, but if you give it up, the other four all get cars. Cindy decided a car in the hand was worth four possible friendships. Her decision can be debated, since she did get the boot. But if this twist stays in the game, you can bet that future 'Survivors' will have analyzed the pros and cons of both of the decisions.
Tears of joy: Steph has played the game twice, but she'd never won an individual immunity until this episode. Realizing she'd made it to the final four, the tough Jersey girl broke down in tears. For her, this season is about as different from Palau as it could be.
Beating the odds: Danni thought she was a goner many times in this game, since she and Gary were outnumbered at the tribal merge. But while Gary was sent home (after exposing Judd as a liar in a most satisfying way), Danni is still around, beating the odds.
Slippery like a fish: Lydia, the fishmonger from Washington state, has no athletic ability and has been instantly counted out of almost every challenge she's participated in. Yet she made the final four, in part to a strong alliance, and in part due to that same alliance cracking off around her. She may not have athletic skills, but Lydia is personable and a bit of a mom figure for the others, and she's flying under the radar still.

Alliance? We don't need no steenkin' alliance!: Danni was outnumbered at the merge, but she somehow kept hanging on, week after week. She won the last immunity and smartly chose to take the combative Steph, who'd made more than a few enemies, to the final two. Once there, she cleaned up in the voting, and took home the million. And after that, she cleaned up some more: She might just be the most glamorous winner in "Survivor" history.
No second chance: Steph fought hard in the Palau season, but her tribe was narrowed down to just two, and then to just her. This year, it was a completely different story. She ran the major alliance in Guatemala and almost ran herself straight to a million dollars. If she hadn't had to backstab and lie to so many former friends, she might have won it all. It was obvious when she lost the final immunity that she was absolutely pushed to her physical limits and could go no further, but until then, nothing had stopped Steph.
X marks the spot: Jeff Probst got in a pitch for next season's "Survivor." The show will return to Panama, with a couple of twists. Castaways will be regularly banished to a place called "Exile Island," where they'll have to get along alone -- but there will also be something hidden on the island (another mini-immunity idol?) that could help them win. Probst also mentioned a new way of dividing the tribes, but the island is obviously meant to be the big twist, hence the new season's name: "Survivor Panama: Exile Island."
First and ten: Gary Hogeboom hid the fact that he was a former NFL quarterback, but at the reunion, we learned that sports-radio host Danni was on to him almost instantly. And we discovered why someone who certainly made his own millions in the NFL wanted to compete for just one million here: He's a true fan of the game of "Survivor," and couldn't wait to try it out.
Pants on fire: Jeff Probst confronted Judd with something that almost every viewer had wanted to say: Probst pointed out that Judd did lie, pretty much all the time, despite his constantly saying he didn't. It was most satisfying to see Judd (again) have to admit that yes, he was a regular Pinocchio.
Dream a little dream: Cindy, it was revealed at the reunion, had two dreams: To be on "Survivor," and to work as a zookeeper. Fulfilling her first dream made her lose her second. She was fired from her zoo job when she took a break to go audition for and compete on the show. Cindy also claimed that she still misses Guatemala, and at night tries to remember the sounds and feel of sleeping in the jungle.
You have the right to remain silent: Amy, a police officer, has discovered that even criminals watch "Survivor." She noted that now sometimes when she's arresting people as part of her job, they'll turn to her and say "Weren't you on 'Survivor'?" Why yes she was, and keep your hands behind your back.
What a boob: Blake got voted out in part because he just would not shut up with his stupid stories. The one about his girlfriend's breasts was exceptionally memorable. At the reunion, Blake confessed that he watched it with said girlfriend, and she laughed and supposedly didn't mind what he said. He also claimed her father called him and said "I can't believe my daughter's breasts got you kicked off 'Survivor'." Now that's not something you envision your dad ever saying to your boyfriend.
Hair today, gone tomorrow: Brandon had long locks during the game, but at the reunion, he was fairly closely cropped, with bangs. He might have been the most unrecognizable returning player at the reunion.
