Ruslaan Mumtaz:Zarah knows I'm not gay

Ruslaan Mumtaz is not happy and 'gay' these days. Having had an affair for over a year with him, Zarah Khan has made grave allegations against Ruslaan. Not only has she accused him of giving out her MMS clip but also of being a gay.

Both Zarah and Ruslaan may have gone unnoticed for their films or no films (in Zarah's case), but a scandalous MMS featuring Zarah and an unidentified guy has given the now ex-flames the eyeballs they needed to make the industry stand up and notice them.

Ruslaan, however, says that Zarah and her mother Salma Agha are doing all this simply because he preferred to go out on Valentine's Day with a male friend. Here is an excerpt of his interview where he contests all the allegations and lashes out at Zarah.

So Ruslaan, are you gay? Salma Agha's daughter Zarah claims so.

No. And even if I was I'd be fine with that. How can she say I'm gay when she knows better? For the record, I am not gay. Too bad, if being gay is a problem for her and her mother. I've loads of gay friends.

The film and glamour industry have a lot of gay and bi-sexual men. I love spending time with them. If my parents have no objection, why do Ms Salma Agha and Zarah have any? I love my gay friends. Just because somebody has a problem with the gay community I am not going to stop hanging out with them.

Apparently you leaked out an MMS of Zarah with an unidentified guy?

It has been uploaded by someone on Youtube. They can easily find who uploaded it. I have better things to do than upload clips of other people. I'm in no way involved with that MMS. Someone known to her has shot and uploaded the video. As for her being in the video or not, that's for her to know and claim. I don't care if that girl in the video is Zarah or Britney.

Were you seeing Zarah or were you interested in her?

No, I wasn't interested in her. She was my friend. I don't want to talk about her. I was the one escorting her to all the filmy parties in Bollywood and I introduced her to all the producers and directors I know.

Was she interested in you?

Yes. But at this juncture sounds petty.

Are they taking legal action against you?

Yes. Zarah even went to the Oshiwara police station in a saree with her mother to complain about me. Though I am curious to know what I am guilty of.
