😃 Ok, do you guys watch a film just because it wins awards? This can apply in general. Many films, past or present, have won Bollywood awards and many have not been even "award-winning." Perfect examples are films like My Name is Khan and Dabaang. The quality of these films were not up to par with many films that released in 2010. Just because they won awards, doesn't necessarily mean some watched them! I was one of them! 😆 Anyway, just because a film wins awards, doesn't mean it is good by any means! So, please share your thoughts on this. Do you watch a film just because it wins AWARDS? 😲

no i watch most of them before it wins award!! lol anyways its not the award that attracts me because award function comes way much later after the release of the film. so i depend on the trailer or other's review or my personal favorite to watch a film. for an example i watched my name is khan because i like srk-kajol and srk did a film after more than a year gap so i was excited to see what he comes up with. Dabang on the other hand i watched because of salman. i didn't even watch any trailer before it got released. i saw bigg boss 4 where salman was hosting and i found him very entertaining there so i thought to give dabang a shot. of course all the awards came later on.. So no i don't watch a film just because it wins award.

When films like Dhoom2 and GUZAARISH are given awards, murder happens in my heart. In the recent times, I have seen Udaan, Do Dhoni Chaar and the two films were recognized. Ishqiya was good too. Some of the films though that have been awarded have actually been of quality, so I don't know where you're coming from...I just laugh when the same group of actors keep on bagging the awards *cough SRK* for doing absolutely nothing. Also there needs to be variety of films which need to be included for consideration at awards...Usually Bollywood awards are commercial and an easy way for sponsors and actors to make money. It's business. I doubt anyone takes it too seriously.

I watch a movie because usually it is publicized enough to catch my interest. Sometimes the awards do interfere in my decision to do so : "The king's speech" - I don't regret - awesome movie.

These awards come much later... By then I would have already watched the movie, atleast the majority of them...😆
Either way I dont hold any value to these awards... They are more like return gifts after a birthday party...
Event mein aajao...camera ko smile karo...dance karo...award present karo...akhir mein award le jao...
The only highlight of these awards is when the small budget films get the recognition...
Otherwise I just watch the award show for entertainment... In recent times it is not even entertaining... The same old juvenile jokes by the hosts... The same faces in the front rows... The same camera zooming on the ex's when the celeb goes on stage...The same gigs and gags...The same people dancing and prancing around... 🥱

Bollywood awards: I have generally seen all the movies before those awards 😆 And those awarda are a total joke 😆

The Oscars sometimes yes: I catch up on the movies I haven't seen like The King's Speech, the fighter.

If the movie has an appealing story, cast, or any other features that makes it stand out - I would watch it regardless of it winning an award or not. Awards don't really make a movie watchable/unwatchable for me.

Not really... but once I did... it ended up a nightmare!

Dabanggg!!!! so much awards and sooo over-rated!
this movie was *#@! nothing but *#@! 👎🏼 🤬
👎🏼
never mind.. never repeating this experience again...

I dont' even think this movie should deserve an award! I knew for the first time that..
awards are just given ... becuz they have to be given... not cuz they are deserve to be given..

Salman: totally Overacted!!!! through out movie... NONSENSE dialogues. the actions scenes were pathetic!😲 action scenes were more like comedy scenes..

Sonakshi: totally over-rated.. it was her debut performance just by saying one dialogue she becomes FAMOUS! OMG! "thapar say dar nahi lagta sahab pyar se lagta hai" she marries Salman the next day after her Father dies...

and Arbaaz... naaay.. poor poor! performance..

moreover.. Muni Badnam... 🤢
