Hey guys!
I don't think it Pia actually hit Neil. If you watch the scene before, Neil was already not picking up Jai's call (while Pia/Jai are at the coffee shop). I think she may have run into him while he was already unconscious though.
So, a couple predictions:
- Neil was attacked by someone else that they haven't introduced yet - most likely...
- Neil/Jai planned this in order to frame/get closer to Pia - may not be true since Neil seems genuinely nice + Jai wouldn't have been as ticked that Neil wasn't picking up the phone since he knew what was going to happen
- Neil was upset due to his break up with Panchi and did something to himself - but then, why would he have been out randomly on the deserted road? something may have happened in between...
