They showed the year 2007...

in which year dis show will end 2007 or 2011?

and by the way..is dis real story?

It ends in 2007. As the story is about two individuals born on the same day but in different conditions. The story spans their lives for 60 years, from August 1947, so should end in 2007. I don't know about true story but it is based on Jeffrey Archer's book titled Kane and Able. A superb book. You should read it if you haven't yet done so. The entire story-line is based on it, the only difference being here it has the Hindu-Muslim aspect and at the very beginning it had the independence backdrop.
