Mayank's confession was gud & Nupur's reaction was quite unexpected.

sam sam sam!!!!!!!! u didn't messed up a bit...i m telling u! trust me...i love the way the whole situation u created...& specially i love both of their reaction...Mayank 's confession was more of a relief to him.the burden that he is carrying since so many years...is finally off...no more hiding there...& then i simply love the way u bring the twist with Nupur's reaction...its not that she was angry coz mayank broke her trust as a friend by loving her...the fact that he hide his feelings back then & she didn't understood him was made her angry!!!! some how i feel nupur had always loved mayank too...but it is just that she never really gave that idea much thought coz mayank was never clear to him or may be she just didn't realized that the friendship that she shared with mayank had all the chances to blossom as love which becoz of mayank's hiding his feelings never got thew chance & she had to learn to love adhiraj through an arrange marriage...i m not saying that she never loved adhiraj.but that was different...it was more like trusting a good freind.respecting him , caring for him.but if it was mayank .things cud have beed totally different!!!!!!

Mayank on the other hand always thought he sacrificed his love & ensured nu[ur's happiness with it ...but now i m loving how u made him thinking...may be he is the one who made that mistake of not realizing Nupur's feelings for her.& by lying to her he actually messed up whuch could have been a perfect love story between two best friends.that " now atleast" by nupur...ahh i love that ...that was the clue...

wow.. this was amazing.. this was framing real life things.. it wasnt lovey dovey or something.. it showed the true feelings, the confusions, the pain and everything which would have happened if this happened in real!

Today I realized, how much Nupur loves Mayank, I have seen her breaking down today, after Mayank told her that he is leaving. I wish Nupur had realized it earlier and I wish Mayank too. But these two don't realize, and according to Nupur I shouldn't interfere. She feels Mayank is happy with Ria. There was a time when she had explained me, that they are more than friends but not lover and now... She has realized her love... but she has asked me to marry her... I can't deny her even if I want... may be I am selfish too... She wants Mayank's happiness, I want hers... this is really complicated...

We are about to get married. She trust me, that's enough for me. I know I can never take Mayank's place but I just wish I'll be able to give her happiness... I don't want her to love me back... I just hope my love will be enough...

Still I wish ... if they were meant to be...it would have been so easy

Mayank closed the diary, his legs were trembling. He fell on the couch, and covered his forehead with hands, as if wanted to hide somewhere. He wanted to shout, cry but he didn't had strength. He had never imagined himself hurting anyone, and now he has hurt the person, whom he loved more than his life. Why did he feel Nupur loved Adhiraj? Why didn't he believe his friendship? If only he had asked her, talked with her, all these complications could have been avoided. And instead, he was trying hard to ignore her.

Nupur is hurt because I never understood her; I never had enough trust on our friendship to confess my feelings to her. I deserve her anger.

A gentle stroke on his forehead, made him open his eyes. He saw his aunt, for him more than his mother, sitting next to him.

"Mayu" She said in a soft tone.

"Maa, I messed up everything... I just... How could I hurt someone whom I loved maa? She hates me." There was hurt and pain in his voice, she have never heard him like that. He sounded like a lost person.

"Time does that, remember one thing, everything happens for a reason Mayank, whatever has happened, have happened, you can't cry over that now. You have another chance, another opportunity waiting for you... Don't miss it my son. Don't miss it." She ruffled his hair, he smiled at her.

He needed this, just few words which will show him hope, which will give him strength. He again had his aim now

Nupur talked with Gunjan, she told her everything. She needed a shoulder to cry on and she had Gunjan, her sister. Gunjan's hope was growing that everything will be fine now.

"Dii, do you love him" Nupur nodded her head.

"I do Gunjan, but I don't know"

"Give it a chance Dii" Gunjan took Nupur's hands in hers, and looked in her eyes. "He is the one for you. Destiny wanted it to happen... You must give it a chance Dii"

"I need time... I don't know... I am angry on myself Gunjan, if only I had known him... If only I had understood him, this wouldn't have happened."

"Dii, whatever has happened, have happened, don't spoil your future with the regret. I hope you'll think and make a quick decision" Saying this Gunjan left from there to give Nupur time.

That night while laid in the bed, Nupur's mind was filled with all the memories.

Mayank loved her. And he had left everything for her, thinking she loved someone else. He wanted my happiness, may be time was not with us. And even I was at fault. If and only if I had realized my love much earlier and trusted him and understood him well. We both were at fault, maybe it was just the time. Now life has given us another chance, maybe I should use it.

Whole night she was lost in her thoughts.

Mayank was staring at the moon from his window and Nupur while sitting on her bed...

The sun rose bringing new hopes, new dreams, a new bright day.

Mayank entered the Bhushan house with a smile on his face and a rose in his hand. Nupur got ready early in the morning and a smile playing on her lips, as if she has sensed the happiness.

The door bell rang and she went to open it. There was Mayank standing in front of her wearing a white shirt and black denims with a smile on his lips. But then the smile vanished and Nupur realized that he was little nervous. Her heartbeats were increasing, she was very much nervous.

"Good morning Nupur"

"Good morning Mayank"

Again silence for few seconds.

"Nup-"

"May-" Both said at same time and smiled

"Nupur, where is Kashika?"

"she is upstairs, come" The both headed upstairs, Gunjan was with Kashika, on the terrace.

"Oh my princess is awake so early morning, definitely she is not like her mother" Mayank grinned and received an angry glare for Nupur.

"Oh ho Mayank, don't make Dii mad early morning" Gunjan gave Kashika to Mayank and left from there, "Will be right back"

Mayank nodded at her.

Mayank sat on the swing with Kashika sitting in his arms, moving her tiny fingers over his face as always. She giggled when he placed a kiss on her forehead. He had missed her so much. Nupur had always seen Kashika happy with Mayank, she was attached to him. Both were smiling, giggling. Mayank stood up balancing her on his shoulder. "Pa...pa..." she was making sounds.

"Nupur, did you hear?" Mayank screamed.

"relax Mayank!! I did, I heard her." Nupur said with excitement. Her baby said her first word, though not properly but she did. They both kissed her cheeks.

"Nupur..." Mayank looked in her eyes straight. Nupur looked back, and now Mayank knew she was ready to hear him.

" I want to be Kashika's father, I love her, I want to give all the happiness to my daughter Nupur." Silent tear rolled down her eye.

"May-''

Mayank went close to her and placed her finger over her lips. "Nupur... I have caused you enough pain till now... I want to fill our lives with happiness, my life is nothing without you Nupur ... I love you and will always" He had said it. "Are you ready?" he held his palm in front of her. He was waiting for her to place hers on his.

"Mayank, it will take time... for me to be... yours completely.. I can't forget my past...I cant ever forget Adhi, he was the one who had been there, the one whom I trusted, and he will be part of my life always, a happy good memory... Our relationship was based on trust... and I loved him" Nupur told him, she needed time, she couldn't just move away from past.

"I know Nupur, I don't want you to forget anything, it's a part of you, and me too. He loved you, and I know you too... Past is something which will be there always but I want to be your present and future" Mayank wiped her tear. " Do you love me?" Mayank asked her.

"I do...I love you Mayank" These were the words he had been waiting to hear from her since eternity. And now she had.

"I know Nupur, we need time, am ready to wait, I just want to be with you, by your side, to hold you, to let you cry when you want, to give you the happiness, I want to be your present and your future... Do you trust me?"

He knew she did.

"I do" Nupur finally placed her hand on his, she knew he won't break it again, whatever had happened was the matter of time.. "But I too was at fault Mayank... I should have..."

"It was the time Nupur, it had to be like that... it did. And look at this angel; she is all here to spread the magic in our life." The little child placed her hand too on their hands and cooed.

Mayank and Nupur smiled...

Gunjan had heard all of it and was happy. She ran to share her happiness...

Mayank and Nupur, were friends and will be always the Best friend, it was just the matter of time and insecurities. It didn't mean they lacked the trust and understanding. They didn't. They knew each other very well and so they confessed at the right time and they used their second chance... another chance... which they got.

It was night time, they were sitting on the swing on the terrace looking at the sky.

"I am lucky to have you Mayank"

"So am I Nupur, I love you..."

Nupur smiled at him.

They stared at each other...

As their eyes met, somewhere in heaven someone whispered, "Made for each other...wish them all the happiness" and smiled...
