Sushant goes missing from Pavitra Rishta
Richa BaruaRicha Barua, TNN | Jun 2, 2011, 02.46pm ISTA little birdie told us that Sushant Singh Rajput's character on Zee TV's popular primetime drama Pavitra Rishta will soon be seen meeting with a car accident, following which he will go missing from the show for an indefinite period of time.
Strange! Could this twist in the storyline be a result of changing personal equations between the makers of the show and Sushant? After all, why would they have the hero of their show, whose very presence ensures a dedicated viewership, go missing in action?
Since this curious development smelt of something fishy, we dug some more ... apparently, the actor has expressed reservations about the upcoming storyline of the show which he believes does not project his character in a good light. Sushant does not want his larger-than-life image in the eyes of his fans to stand diminished.
While a consensus on the plot could not be reached, Sushant is said to have suggested that Manav meets with a car accident and goes missing. This, he believes, will give him and the creative team some time to brainstorm and come up with a plotline that is acceptable to all.
Questions that remain unanswered are ... How soon will Sushant resurface on the show? Will he emerge with a handicap? Will he suffer a loss of memory? Or worse still, will he resurface at all? Your guess is as good as ours! We see a lot of ladies crossing their fingers to see Manav back ... !
