As Rohini shouts back at her in laws, Naina tells her not to do it, and is interrupted by her would be mother in law, who wants to teach her the manners she expects from her would
be daughter in law. But this daughter in law, is made of a different cloth, and wants to know what her fault is. Vibha tries to explain, but the agressive elder sister, stops her with the raising of her palm, and stops her in her tracks, and tells her this is a matter between them, and she needs to learn good manners. Abhi walks forward, and comes close to Naina, and asks her to say sorry, to placate his mother. He asks her, "What is the harm in saying sorry?" After a long time, Naina says, "Sorry, Vahini. I should not have spoken to you like this." Rohini tries to show that she is a better bahu, and tells that eventually, she would learn how to behave. She wants to rub salt into her wound for interfering in her affairs, and feels proud of her success and walks off to her room. The mother in law, to be, of Naina is placated, and tells her not to repeat this mistake in future. Tells her, "Come on, there is a lot of work in the kitchen." Naina goes away, and Daksh is not able to face this ordeal, as it is too much for his sensitive nature and he too gets away from their company. Vibha too is unhappy at the way her sister treats Naina.
Akruti is ironing her clothes, and recalls her conversation with Ayush about his parents, and his evasive answers., She also remembers what Daksh told her that he would talk to Ayush about her marriage. In the meantime, her clothes emit smoke and she gets cough and notices the dress has been burnt. Aunt Vibha rushes in and asks if she has finished ironing, and notices the burned dress. Akruti bursts into tears, with her pent up feelings and actually she wants to unburden herself on her aunt, but avoids, and goes to wash herself.
In the kitchen, Naina is busy and Abhi helping her. Abhi wants to lighten the atmosphere, and tries to make some easy talk, and tells her that she had to say, sorry by force. Daksh enters the kitchen, and notices him. The double faced guy, says, "What difference is there. Your aim was to make my mother happy, and she was." He goes on, telling her how happy he is, but does not notice the unhappiness on her face. A typical reaction of an egoist. His egoism gets on the nerves of Daksh,.
Daksh comes closer to them, and Naina suddenly lights up, and looks at him and says, "Daksh your tiffin is ready". He asks her why she bothered, as he could have eaten
outside. She tells him, that she knows what type of food is offered outside his office. Daksh says, "Thanks" and then we hear the rude voice of Abhi's mother ordering her to come to her. She says, "Yes maushi." and goes. When she goes away, Abhi swaggers with his tilting shoulders, to his cousin, and tells him, "See Chintu, how much Naina has changed? Mother just called her once, and in a jiffy, she went." As Abhi smiles at his prowess, Daksh asks him curtly, "What was the necessity of making this change? She was fine, as she was." Abhi has a point of his own, "Sometimes, one has to change to make others happy. I wish, Naina keeps my mother happy throughout her life. What more do I want?" - He is the center of his world. Daksh asks him, "What about Naina's happiness?" Abhi is surprised, "What? She is happy !" Daksh gives his cousin a piece of his mind. "By looking at her, you think she is happy. Nothing appears to you? Let it go. It is useless talking to you." He takes his tiffin, and walks out of the kitchen.
Abhi runs after him, and asks him, why he is behaving like this. Daksh tells him, "It is not necessary, that you understand everything." When Abhi insists, Daksh tells him, that Naina is tired of doing his mother's bidding. Abhi still sides with his mother, and even the apology she asked her to tender was right, as Naina did not know how to speak to elders. Naina watches and listens to him. Again, Abhi comes out with his egotism, and says "I am very happy, that she left her pride to make my mother happy, and she listened to her." Daksh tells him, "Yes, it is true. To make your mother happy, she has gone too far from herself. She tries to do all those things, which she would never have wanted to do. All this makes you happy?" He tells him that for love one has to make sacrifices. - What he means is, Naina makes these sacrifices, to prove her love for him. He adds. "But you will not understand, because you have never loved anyone." Daksh is angry, and tells him, "You say, that you love her, but only, she has to change, she has to make sacrifices, and you have nothing to do. Is this the love you talk about? If you really had loved her, you would have taken her side, and prevented your mother from making such demands. The Naina you loved, is gone. She is no more that Naina." - and Naina has a chance to hear the ideas of love of both these young men. Will it change her mind? Abhi asks Daksh why he is over reacting. And Daksh tells him, that he is also not reacting to anything that is happening. He leaves him with his final words, "I told you before, it is of no use talking to you, as you are too dumb to understand."
What he leaves is that it is due to his self centered behavior, and twisted upbringing. He leaves him, and goes back home, and Naina stops him and says, "Daksh", he waits a while, and looking down, walks in. He comes back with his briefcase, and sits in his car and drives off.
On a lonely road, Kaka Shridar, popping nuts in his mouth, walks and thinks that only one week is left. He sees Daksh talking to a man, with a bag slung on his shoulder. He stops and looks. When he leaves, Kaka turns his back, and Daksh sees his kurta, and wonders who he is. Then he says, "Kaka" and Shridar walks fast, picks an auto, and disappears from there. Daksh wonders what has gone wrong.
In Naina's office, Seema sees her and asks why she is looking so tired. She guesses it may be due to the heat. She tells her about a new client, Ms. Deshpande, who wants to meet her. She tells her that the appointment is at 5.00 p.m. and asks her if she would go. Naina looks into her diary. Naina figures that she has prepared lunch, and she would prepare dinner too, and so she tells Seema, that she will meet her. But to their shock, Minoo Tai is in the room and tells her it can not be done. Even Akruti finds it strange. Naina politely, says, "Maushi, come inside please." Minoo looks around, and Naina tells her that this is her office. She introduces Seema to her and Seema smiles at her and says, "Namaste" - but it is below her dignity to wish back. Naina tells Seema, that this is Minoo Maushi. Naina clarifies and tells her that she is Abhi's mother. The mother corrects her, and says, "Not Abhi, it is Abhimanyu." Then she reminds her that she asked her to take off for four days, and how had she agreed to meet her client, but Naina says it is important, and she will prepare all the kitchen work, but she says it is not work, but today is a day, she has to abstain from food, and going out. This is something new to Naina. No one understands why she has to bend over backwards to meet the demands of this lady. Naina tells her, "It is important that I meet this client Maushi." The maushi gives her an ultimatum and a choice. Either her word, or her work. Akruti watches her aunt angrily. When her aunt has left, she tells Naina that she will go to meet the client instead of her. But Naina is reluctant, as she is unwell.
Minoo, Vibha and Rohini are doing the Grahan Pooja, and Rohini asks where Naina is. Minoo tells her that she has work in the office, and it is fine, as long as she does not go out. Minoo asks where Shyamal is, and Vibha tells her that she has gone to her mother's place as someone is sick. They start their prayers with they eyes closed, and full of devotion, and Rohini tries to appear to be one of them, even though her heart is full of venom and hatred..
Naina prepares the agenda for Seema, and tells her that for the next four days or more, she will not come to the office, and that she should take care of all the work she has written on the paper. Then she gets a call from Daksh, and she asks if the food was not good. He tells her that it was good. He tells her that his mood was not good in the morning, so he could not speak to her, and she smiles and tells him, that she understands. Daksh tells her, "You can understand, everyone's thoughts and feelings, but you can not know your own feelings." Naina listens to him, intently. Daksh continues, "Stop what you are doing. Your compromising has gone too far. It is fine to do what the Maushi wants, but at the same time do what you have to do, without compromising. I do not like if one is asked to ask forgiveness, when he has not done any fault." Naina says, "Thanks Daksh. I am lucky, for having found such a sincere and good friend like you. " He replies, "I am always with you Naina." When Daksh hears a knock on his door, he tells her that he will speak to her later. Both are very relieved,.
Abhi, the Abhimanyu Kulkarni, son of Minoo Kulkarni, saunters proudly into Naina's office, and suddenly Naina's memory is jolted with Daksh's words to him, about the sacrifices which he has failed to make, and then she hears, Abhi greet Seema. Seema takes the tip from his mother, and wishes him, "Good morning, Abhimanyu." This guy has brought a sandwich to eat for Naina, and he wants her to cheat his mother and eat it but she tells him, that due to the special day, she has decided not to eat. Abhi has no conscience. The way he behaves, is in great contrast with the way Daksh behaves towards her. Any girl with common sense, should see the difference, and perhaps, we have to wait a bit longer till the tables are turned.
Naina stops Abhi and asks him, "Will you always take my side, even when I make a mistake, and make your mother angry?" - Out comes a torrent of empty words, and promises, which no one who sees him, can believe that they come from a sincere heart, but since Naina wants to believe him, she trusts him, but for how long, only time will tell. Perhaps, this is also going to be a part of her life experience to distinguish from one person to another. Abhi is an expert in external actions and symbolism, but he is a selfish guy, which Naina has not yet come to realize.
In the pre-cap, Akruti faints in Ms. Deshpande's office, and she rings Naina to tell her about it. Will Naina leave her office, and break her religious obligation, which is all important for Abhimanyu Kulkarni's mother?

1. Take Daksh's advice, not to compromise with her principles and help Akiruti
2. Rely of Abhi's promise to defend her from Maushi's anger for leaving the house..
3. Break the Grahan restriction, and go to Akruti's help. in Ms Deshpande's office.
How will Abhi and his mother react if Naina goes out of the house, to help Akruti? or she will ask Abhi to go and help her? Is he the type to go?
