Geet hurried to reach the airport as she was never late when her work was concerned. On the way, she called her team to assist her in case she needed them. The team was never with her in her cases.rather they were advised to stay outside and wait until Geet needed their help which was one in a millionth case. As the fate controlled their lives, even Maan was waiting at the Departures.reason being the car he had called for had met with an accident leading to a serious injury to the general manager and driver. Maan had sent his secretary Pinky along with some cash to the hospital. At the airport, he sat in one of the coffee shops waiting for his car since past two hours. Both Maan and Geet were so mysteriously connected to each other that though being far apart since past 2 years, they could guess and feel each other's presence in the surrounding.as if the air informed them of each other. As soon as Geet entered the airport, a wave of irritability swept across her throat, it burned as if wet with kerosene. Her eye-colour grew worse and her skin grew paler. She took two deep breaths and calmed herself down before being noticed by her team. She wondered-aaj tak, kisi public place mein mujhe itna irritation nahi hua jitna yahaan ho raha hai! **** yeh ho kya raha hai! Even Maan stood there helpless because of the change in his surroundings. Suddenly, the air seemed cooler, sweeter as if telling him that look I am here Maan. Yeh kya ho raha hai. Sab kitna alag ho gaya achaanak! Aisa kyun? Before Geet could trace the thoughts and the issues, Abhijeet bumped into her from nowhere and hugged her tightly Oh! Dr. thank you so much ki aap aayi! Geet got confused lekin ACP sir ne kaha tha...to aana hi than na! Abhijeet nodded and then pointed towards stair-case. Geet nodded and followed him. Near the stair-case, she stopped realising the presence of a very familiar scent in the air. Her eyes grew darker again and her breaths increased. She gaspedMaan! Her eyes wandered around to find him but he was nowhere to be seen. She was quite sure that it was Maan's scent but she even couldn't deny that the perfume Maan used was not a single piece, there must have been many. She thought all kinds of excuses to defend her nasal power for inhaling Maan's scent. She wanted to revenge and kill him but there was certainly some part of her body who wanted to keep Maan away from her, the predator...the demon. May be her heart, which had stopped beating years ago still thumped for Maan, to save him from her devilish side. She couldn't help wishing that Maan shouldn't come in front of her lest she wouldn't be able to control herself. Her mind knew Maan was somewhere near her, his blood scent was so appealing, her heart and throat burned but one of them burned to see him and the other, to satisfy its never ending thirst. She quietly followed Abhijeet without letting her senses wander in search of him. They stopped at the baggage-claiming area and waited for the flight. Geet looked lost all the while and this even Abhijeet could notice.
Abhijeet: aap theek hai?
Geet didn't reply...lost as she was! He jerked her again: Dr.?
Geet: haan!
Abhijeet: aap theek hain na?
Geet stuttered: h-haan, b-bi-bilkul!
Abhijeet gazed at the watch and then at "Flight Schedule".
Maan got up because of the sudden, weird feelings rising in him. He went near the railings and looked around to wander his mind. He clearly could feel someone special's presence in the area. It was the same that arose when he had seen Geet for the first time at the Handa Haweli in Hoshiyarpur. His heart longed to get one-sight of her. But yet again, Fate ruled their lives. Geet was standing with her back faced to Maan and she had changed so much that it was really hard for anyone to recognise her now.
Finally, after an hour's wait, Maan's car came to the airport and a lady came inside to escort him. She called: Mr. Khurana! Geet heard that and her body froze where it was. She tried so hard to control herself, but her wild side was burning inside her. Her eyes grew darker again and her body grew paler and colder. It would have been a lot worse if Abhijeet wasn't there, just when her body was changing Abhijeet changed the topic Dr.! yeh lijiye, humari flight bhi aa gayii! Chaliye, aage chal ke scanning room mein chalte hain! Geet composed herself again and followed Abhijeet without seeing behind. But yes, Maan was indeed very lucky and so was the entire airport. Her power could have destroyed any living thing in that airport, so ferocious she was.
Maan couldn't help thinking of the strange feelings that developed while his stay at the Airport and he could easily connect that it was something he could connect to Geet. He was absolutely sure that Geet had been near when that thing happened to him. He regretted of not attempting to investigate into the matter...
Geet, for the first time, couldn't concentrate on her work and Abhijeet had to bring back her mind several times before it went away all over again.
Abhijeet: aaj aap kuch theek nahi lag rahi thi?
Geet: nahi to, I am fine!
Abhijeet: mujhe aise laga jaise kuch problem hai!
Geet: nahi, bilkul nahi...everything is fine!
Abhijeet: Coffee?
Geet: haan?
Abhijeet: mera matlab hai, Coffee pe chalengi?
Geet: umm.. mera mann nahi hai!
Abhijeet: chaliye to! Aapka mann halka ho jayega!
Geet: that's so very sweet of you, pur aaj nahi!
Abhijeet: Dr!
Geet melted a bit: ok! Chalte hai! Kahaan waise?
Abhijeet: Coffee House!
Geet: done! Pur abhi mujhe ghar jaana hai! I have some work!
Abhijeet: yup! Absolutely! It's fine!
Geet: bye!
Abhijeet smiled and was greatly flattered: bye Dr. Geet!
Oberoi Trident:
Maan checked in and then went back to his room to change and freshen up. He couldn't concentrate in his work, mind being on Geet! He called his best friend Naitik who was based in Mumbai and lived with his wife Akshara
Maan: hi Naitik!
Naitik: hey Maan...kaise ho! Aur sab theek, aise kaise achaanak phone kiya?
Maan: nahi bas aise hi, Mumbai aaya tha aur kaafi akela bhi tha, to socha tumhe call kar loon!
Naitik: tum yahaan ho? Arey waah! Yeh to bahut achcha hua! To aaj ka dinner mere yahaan, theek hai?
Maan: dinner to nahi ho payega Naitik, aaj mera clients ke saath dinner hai! Main yahaan aaya to kuch personal kaam se tha pur meeting fix kar li, socha do kaam ek saath ho jayega!
Naitik: hmm, chalo koi nahi! Waise coffee pe to mil sakte hain na?
Maan: umm, theek hai! Kahaan?
Naitik: yahaan ki kaafi purana "Coffee House" hai, wahaan! Yahaan ki coffee ka jawab nahi!
Maan: theek hai. Shaam 6 baje chalega? Uske pehle mujhe thoda kaam hai!
Naitik: done!
Maan: aur baaki sab theek hai na! Akshara bhabhi?
Naitik: hmm, sab achcha hai! Akshara to bahut achchi hai! Chal, mujhe kaam hai, I'll see you soon.
Maan hung up the phone and went back to proceed with his work.
Geet's Residence
Geet reached the residence to find all his family in some grave problem!
Geet: kya hua?
Ayesha: arey yaar, bahut problem ho gayii hai!
Geet: kya?
Ayesha: yahaan kuch nomads aa gaye hain!
Geet: nomads...who are they?
Ayesha: kind of Vampires, the evil ones!
Geet: even we are evil!
Milind: matlab, they prefer human blood and kill people to gratify their thirst!
Geet: to problem kya hai?
Abeer: Geet, who unke aane se yahaan pe murders, disappearances and mystery killings bhad jayengi! Jo humare liye ek problem hai!
Geet: yup, hai to! So kuch socha hai?
Leher: haan! Abhi unke aane mein time hai, tab tak we can search for some other suitable place!
Geet: hmm, main bhi transfer ki application de deti hoon, kuch time to lag hi jaana hai
Her phone rang and she sped upstairs to attend to it.
Geet: haan Abhijeet!
Abhijeet: Geet woh, main yeh poochna to bhul hi gaya! Kitne baje milenge hum
Geet: kahaan?
Abhijeet: umm, Coffee Shop mein!
Geet: okay haan! Umm, 5 baje chalega?
Abhijeet: hmm, theek hai! Tabhi milte hai!
Geet: ok bye!
Geet went to hunt for herself before she went for a Coffee with Abhijeet. She came back to hear more about the nomads who looked really ferocious.
First was Siddharth Mehra, 24 year old...with an ability to see the future...
Then was Maithili, 23 year old...with an ability to stun someone by just one stare!
They were followed by Chand and Haseena, most powerful Vampires at strength... Geet looked fascinated at them and longed to meet them.
