Article- Shaan is heart broken

In Rang Badalti Odhani on STAR One, Shantanu is restless and disturbed after his college reunion party, as he realizes that all his friends have grown up and got settled in life, but he is not. He wonders what is wrong with him, and if he will ever find his place in this world.

In tonight's episode, Shaan will get a bigger jolt when his family too will reiterate that he has never done anything worthwhile in life. Shaan will be heartbroken to hear his family say that, and will take a big step.

A STAR One.in source divulges, "An already upset Shaan will realize that his family - dad Sunil and brother Akshay especially - are very upset due to problems in their business. Shaan will sing a song to cheer them up, and tell them that all will be well soon. But instead of feeling better, his dad and brother will snap at him and add that it is not the time to croon. They will get frustrated with his cavalier attitude, and in the heat of the moment, say that he has never done anything substantial in life. Shaan will be very hurt and upset. Later, he will watch videos of his life since childhood, and realise that he was neglected all his life. His parents were so busy that they never had time for him. Shaan will also remember that he sacrificed his goals of participating in inter-school championship only because his family decided to go on a vacation. They didn't think of what he wanted, but he gave up his dream to be with them. Shaan will be agitated, and will finally decide to do something with his life."

Shantanu aka Karan Tacker wonders, "Have I gone wrong in life? Have I not done anything worthwhile in life? Why do I feel like I am left behind, and all my friends have moved on? I am in a confused, restless state now. I am very depressed and upset."

Khanak aka Yashashri Masurkar, understands his plight and claims, "I am with Shantanu, no matter what happens. I know he has talent and the potential to realise his dreams. I am going to support and encourage him."

Shaan's brother Akshay aka Rushad explains, "We all share a great bond in the family. I love Shaan, but I want him to become responsible in life. I don't want him to take life for granted."

Sunil is feeling guilty about his rant and says, "I regret my rash statements but also feels it was for his own good. I want Shaan to be independent and settle down in life. I don't want him to depend on his family all his life."
