I know that Dakshna fans are unhappy with the Abhi track but I think it is a most interesting track that is touching on some very vital aspects of marriage from the traditional viewpoint.
Naina a smart, hardworking modern girl is being expected to change completely and submerge her personality to fit in with her new life.
Minu mousi is dicating her clothes, her work, her cooking, her habits, her lifestyle, her relationships- everything!! Yes, marriage means making some adjustments but this is a wholesale makeover!
Is this fair? Does Naina's life, her attitude, her work ethic, her warmth, her own mind count for nothing? She has lived so many years backed by her own self - why should she now change so drastically for someone else? Why does Abhi need to marry such a special girl like Naina if it means changing everything about her?
Minu mousi does not even appreciate Naina's career, which she has built from scratch in a strange city! Professionalism comes by delivering on promises and respecting your work. As family, everyone should respect a person's professional commitments. How can mousi ask Naina to take off from work so abruptly? It's not as if Naina has EVER had a problem balancing her personal and professional life.
Naina is bending to mousi's every whim because she wants to give it her best shot. But how long can she do this.
I'm happy to see Daksh fuming at every single change Naina is being made to make. Abhi meanwhile 😡 is only making sweet syrupy noises to everyone concerned while actually doing very little to protect Naina from this very severe woman. 😡😒
Waiting to see how it will pan out.
Will Naina call it off herslef?
Will Mousi come to know of Naina's family and illegitimacy and that will break the engagement?
Or will Daksh, who knows that Naina said yes because of him, step in and say enough of htis rubbish! Naina will not marry Abhi and I will marry her because I can give her a better life!
