Hey friends,
I was randomly going thru our rival site & came across interview of Mr. Rakesh Paswan.
He is basically a writer turned producer of the show- Baba Aiso Var Dhoondo.
Now,i know this show or this person has no connection what so ever with our show or forum.
But,he pointed out some interesting facts about overall daily soap writing process ,**the actual producers** of the show & how any story is actually written for max. 6-8months ,but then stretched due to various reasons.
Basically i found this interview quite openly suggesting how channels in general like to play god & mess with the writers,story-line & the show concept.
Since we all know what happened with our LTL 1,i just thought it appropriate to share this with u all & let u know that we are not the only ones who feel the heartache over certain stupid decisions.
Note : Dear DTs,if u feel my this post is irrelavant or inappropriate,u can close this topic.😊

Thanks...I read it. Btw if star writers are turning producers its a waste of their talent. Like I wish Jayesh Patil was writing for LTL1 till the end. Somehow his replacement wasnt as good as him. He stuck to the characterizatons but didnt give us those surprising Dutta reactions which JP gave us in his time.

I agree about JP sir.Even he became creative head or something (i guess😕) with the show-Pardes me mila koi apna.
But,unfortunately that show didn't do well.So it was loss for LTL 1 & for him may be.
But,then i think here also the channel is to blame,becaz as per Mr.paaswan,the story is written only for 6-8months,then the interference starts.Those who creat their characters with soul cann't see the merciless twisting & that might be the reason for them leaving the show in between.Replacement can never bring back the magic,but,then that is my POV.😊

@bold:...Very true said Pooja,,,,

Some writers come into a settlement later, with the PH and channel, for the sake of financial cause, But those, who create the characters from the core of their heart, and nurture them as their own child, they can not bear such brutality with the characters. Same happened is LTL 1. Dutta is the shadow of the father of the writer,,,then how can he tolerate the demolition of him? We the viewers , the fans, do not bother such buchering, then how can he?

I am not sure if in JP's case it was interference which made him quit. From what I see he got a very good progression career-wise and took it up. His first attempt might have not worked but he maybe successful later on...lets see. But I feel every person has his place. Like a writer should stick to writing and a director to directing and actor to acting. Only few people are multi-talented that they can do many things at a time. Most people I have seen are not successful when they venture to other avenues. And ya JP quitting LTL was surely our loss.

Thanks pooji...good read but not something that we didn't know or experience first hand...See the channels sell their slots to the bidder and when the slot becomes hit they want more encashment on it...Don't know if encashment is even a word..lol..ok so jokes apart what i meant was that they know if the writers keep writing sensibly then the show will have a sensible end and they want to prolong the end till eternity if possible so insist on gimmicks which make the actuall story to get haywire and that puts off the writer then channel goes and get dummy writers who just have supply demand style of writing and no soul in their writing and we get something like LCL!
