I am back with another story..this time, I am calling it an FF only because I can see it go beyond 6 parts..maybe 10..maybe more 😛.. The title inspired by Gulzar's Katra Katra from the movie Ijaazat. I am posting a preview, and depending on the responses, shall post Part 1 sometime later..

PREVIEW

The whole of Hostel 7 called them the Odd couple. One was a rich brat, the other on a national scholarship. One partied all night, the other burnt the midnight oil. One hardly spoke, the other hardly stopped. One was what they called 'nerd ka taj', for the other everything was 'just timepass'. They never interfered with each other's lives but knew enough about each other. They ribbed each other, actually one did and the other sportingly took it. But when one needed anything, the other never questioned and was always there.

Because after all Shantanu K and Suraj Mehta were the best of friends..roomies in their first year, two semesters into M-Tech at Indian Technology Institute, Bombay. ' They were roomies throughout B-Tech and when Shaan's parents insisted on Shaan move into Hostel 7 'the NRI hostel with rooms more spacious, Shaan refused to go unless Suraj joined him too.
