i prefer Sridevi over Madhuri...i feel Sri is more versatile,be it serious roles,comedy,romantic,double roles...she can pull off anything...she is a gracious dancer...Sadma is one performance of her's which still tops my list...yes,she does have an accent while delivering her dialogues, but who cares..most of us have it😃

I love everything about sri devi .the way she smile, dance, her acting, .for me.she has something..thats why i adore her. No1 can match Maduri and sri devi. Both actress are different and both are very good actors. I am gonna be baised here..i gonna pick sri devi..no doubt.Maduri is excellent dancer and actor..but..somehow I like sri devi more😊

Her THUNDER Thighs.. All those who grew up in India will know exactly what I mean.😆🤣 She was rather infamous for her white tight jeans and her Thunder thighs.

On a serious note, Sridevi has acted with the best of actors then. However two movies which really stuck a chord was Sadma and Mr India. Other than these two movies I was never impressed by her movies. She had a wonderful sense of comic timing.


She was considered the number 1 actress once upon a time. Not for me though. I think the late 80's were the time of brash, loud and South Indian dubbed Hindi movies.

sridevi was the best and always will be!! her combination of acting and dancing talent is unmatchable by any other actress yet! 😊

i suggest you watch more of her movies to see how amazing she really is... i watched Lamhe a few days ago too and thought she was great in the double role!

Sri-ji was unique. There is no-one like her. She is magical and ethereal. She had a certain mysteriousness about her. And she sure knew how to light the screen on fire. I think she inspired and paved the way for actresses like Madhuri, Juhi, Kajol, Karisma and many others. So without Sridevi, cinema wouldn't be what it is today.

However, having said that, I think Madhuri is the ultimate complete actress.

The ultimate actress will always be Sridevi. There is no one like her, even Madhuri. She is the only one who could do all type of roles and a dancer as well. She was known to be a through professional.

I would rather not comment on the comparison that's going on here.. But abt Sri Devi.. I absolutely ADORE her.. Mr.India, Laadlaa, Judai, Chaalbaaz.. No one could have performed them better than she did.. And lets jz not talk abt Sadma.. Jz now in the other thread I was discussing abt Sadma.. She was FLAWLESS and OUTSTANDING over there..

I remember one more movie of her.. Where Poonam Dhillon is her elder sis.. And after meeting with an accident, she goes mental.. OMG ! That was FABULOUS movie as well 👍🏼..

I guess it's more about her comic sense/timing, facial expressions ( more like eye-expressions ).. and innocent childlike looks.. She is amazing !

Anyways abt Madhuri.. She's a complete package.. No description is needed to define her appeals .. She's ... Out of the world ! As simple as that 👍🏼
