Now to my take on the episodes... (a week)
a) Nicely acted by KM, NS and HL. Natural, loveable and touching. I like their way to dwell in the characters and it certainly pays off too. I would have hoped that AT could be more active regarding his daughter instead of letting her be a ball between VD, Nivi and HL! But *sigh* that is how it is and this is entirely not acceptable. He is just another KS - nothing more or less than that!
b) What the hell,
For me a woman of substance, when she breaks, she either gets depressed or remains in the shock, but suicide?!? Oh come on CTs... Would Nivi really become so sefish in her guilt and grief that she forgets that there is a man standing there who loves her the most? There is a child who needs her because she herself have taken the responsibility of it?
c) Last part I saw where Nivi says to HL that upbringing of DD's child is her repentance is something I seriously cannot buy. I do not want to be the child who is brought up as a repentance. I would have liked if Nivi said that my relationship with the child is twice as much strong and I am going to take care of it. She should have been more firm, but rational!
d) Love Viren acting, but I would have loved if Viren had been in the room and almost shaken her to senses instead of getting thrown out. She was in affect and could have done anything to herself. It would have for me made sense if she tried suicide there without talking to HL; taken the decision of ending her life!
e) Khayr, I do not get it, why is everyone so obsessed with not asking Sid and Sid so obsessed with not even thinking about his daugter? As I see it from here... The man does not care whether the child is in Sharma House or in Sood Mansion. Thank God I do not have a father like him.
f) Hmm... PT; well there are ways of getting one's message out. He could have said that since HL is not feeling well I want you guys to back off a little. This how it would have been more proper and NT Dadi was once again rescued from sorrow from her own son.
g) Hmm... Where is Aditya and Yash?
h) What I lack to see is Viren and Nivi's conversation about how they are going to take care of the child? None of them have chosen to become parents. Psychologicly one need a 9 months constent reminder of becoming parent and one gets with time used to it. I really missed their talk about how their life has sudden change and what their take on their new life is going to be!
i) This is normal to find that one thinks that he or she was the target of death and someone else dies. BUT it has to be said that what is written in your destiny is something you will get no matter what. So it was DD's death which she got and no one else. Therefore no repentance there! Time of death is fixed and one just has to be there on time. DD was there where she should be and that's it. Yes a little girl lost her mother, but death has no reason or reflection. It comes when it has to come. More about death some other time - fascinating subject which I love to the core. In death lies a world yet to be explored :)
Well all on all... Good episodes, nothing that has made me cry. Acting was good given the script delivered to the actors, but there lots of things from CTs which lacks, but that mantra is not even new from my side!

Good take Abidah. As usual. its a quick fix from CTs. they introduce a track all of a sudden and move ahead in supersonic speed. It ends up patchy scriptwise. They depend on the actors to deliver it.

Short and to the point. I liked point B so that means Nivi is still not the woman of substance yet and she has to go thru' more trials to reach there. I am sure she will and with the help of Viren. I guess that will be the culmination of CCBM

Hi Abidah, a full week's analysis! thanks it was nice to read.

I really agree with your third point (c) that it would have been better if Nivi had not said that raising Dwita is her prayashcit. We know she's doing it for much much more than that. Because of who she is as much for what has happened. The primary pull is the love -- for the baby, for her sister, the need to give the love that she knows a motherless child needs because she's been there. And on top of that are the complicated and visceral feelings about the cause of DD's death. So I really agree, it would have been better to invoke the love rather than the repentance. But then she did go to her chachi to ask for punishment, to say she wants to repent, and she said go and kill yourself, and zombie-like, Nivi goes to do just that forgetting everything else, till Viren 'wakes' her up. Now, she is explaining why she is still alive. Of course, as you say, all this could have been avoided if she hadn't gone to HL, but some confrontation had to happen, I feel, after HL's accusations.

On your other point, yeah, I do hope they now show Nivi and VIren talking and I hope they actually show us those conversations - even the frustrations - but definitely the conversations and the efforts they'll no doubt make to deal with this new situation as they grope along. Both have consciously chosen the situation, and are doing it out of love -- it was so nice how they showed Viren's love for his niece so well -- but that does not mean there will be no consequences, intended and unintended, direct and indirect...so, as you say, it will be so important to talk and I hope they show us that. And not to forget some sweet, good, loving moments too, along with everything else!! That would be so nice.

Good to have you back!

(Have you checked out the threads that Anju and Milee and Ekta started about this question of destiny and whose fault is it etc? There was some good discussion that took place which you'd have enjoyed.)

Hey Abidah, I very much agree with you. I just came back from conference today and watched all the episodes in one shot and there was nothing that made me cry either. CT just dont have same passion as you.
