2006: The year of Aamir and Shah Rukh!

2006 will witness the clash of the titans yet again!

Aamir and Shah Rukh have clashed in the same year before on many occasions, the most prominent one being the year in which 'Rangeela' and 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' released together.

This year Aamir has already delivered a huge hit with U T V's 'Rang De Basanti' and what remains to be seen is whether his combination with Kajol in Yashraj Films' 'Fanaa' does it for him again!

On the other hand, Shah Rukh's first release of the year will be Karan Johar's 'Kabhi Alvidaa Na Kehna' (being distributed by Yashraj Films) in August with the other biggie being Ritesh Sidhwani & Farhan Akhtar's much-awaited 'Don' (being distributed internationally by U T V) in October.

So next year's awards season will mark the fierce Aamir vs. Shah Rukh war all over again, besides establishing the supremacy of Yashraj and U T V in the overseas market with the two biggest Khans!
