On wednesday, soap queen ekta kapoor shot for a special episode of CID on sony, where she plays herself a film and TV show producer. the plot revolves around a serial killer, who specialises in mudering popular celebrities. ekta is shown as his next target. while promoting her film, she discovers that her life is in danger and seeks the help from the CID headed by ACP pradyuman(shivaji satam)

CID has served as a platform for many actors earlier who were not so famous before, now tehy are popular faces...Now it is serving as an useful platform for promotion...

Kya pata Ekta gets acting offers from directors.. She is quiet pretty.
