Anu comes to meet her athai - brings mysore pak - "naane panninathu " Athai is
happy to see darling DIL - more so , because she did not bring Palli along. Anu
plays advocate for Palli " why do you detest her so much?? I see that you detest
RR and Palli the same way??!! Neither you nor your son tell me the reason for this
state of affairs. And now this !!! " Patti says that some things should be left unexplained -
" Do u believe that I will never say any thing against your interest??? Trust me
enough??" Anu has no option but to accept . Patti says that Palli is an Aamai
"Aamai puguntha veedum Ameena puguntha veedum uruppadathu , so stop
seeing Palli from now on" Kathi pOchu vaalu vantha thu dum dum kathai thaan Anu kku .
Adutha segment - AAR kitte Anu goes for stress relief. "Athai hates Palli. Wants
me to severe connections with her !!! It is such a mystery !!! First she hates RR and
now hates Palli equally !!!! " AAR pacifies darling sis and offers to talk to athai. Anu is
not game - " nee vera ...yethanum pesi..apram more issues .." AAR and Ganesh are look vittufying and as per the serial lakshnam all others notice that - except the person who should see it !!! By then the coffee gets cold and Anu offers to reheat it. That gives the
much needed break for AAR to cootchi coo with Ganesh - "looks like RR's mom knows this double life of her son, athaan Ore son aa irunthu kooda pesame irukkanga " Ganesh agrees and AAR takes the opportunity to point fingers "if this is true, then unga logic adi pattu pOchu" Ganesh blinks and AAR goes on " If there is some valid reason for RR's two timing, then why should his mom detest him??? So, that says that there is no justification, right??" Ganesh blinks some more and fortunately Anu comes with coffee and saves Ganesh' eyes from falling off their sockets !!! 😉
Night time - hospital - Sundu and RR walk in to visit Jenny. She is fast asleep and
Sundu wakes her. She apologizes for throwing their schedule off balance and
also feels bad that the contract signing is in jeopardy. RR says that he will take care
of all that. Jenny says that she is still worried - Sundu asks "about what??' -
Jenny says " RR pathi thaan " RR gives his usual blank look

Boring episode! Looks like Rukku is also joining the gang of "Let's not divulge RR's secret", even though it is against her will!

Jennifer says she is worried about RR. As usual, Sundu wants to know why, and she tells them about Rukku and Ganesh meeting with her in the morning before her departure to Kumbakonam, and how Rukku accused her of being RR's second wife, and how she swore that she was not RR's wife, and how Rukku later apologized to her. She says she is worried about RR's image in society and urges him to hold his head high, since he is a "thappae paNNaadhavar". RR says that his secret is already out, since Rukku saw him in Palli's house that morning, and when he followed her to explain, she refused to listen, so she has probably told Anu already. He worries that now he will be an outcaste in society - too bad! You didn't think of this when you rushed into marrying Palli? He takes the file from Jennifer and leaves.
Nadu theru conference, outside the hospital - Sundu urges RR to call Anu to let her know that he has reached safely, RR thinks Anu would have already heard from Rukku by now and will not talk to him. Sundu has a brilliant idea - call Rukku instead, if she answers the phone, explain to her. If she doesn't answer the phone, then we know that she is really angry with you - aahaa, enna brilliant idea! RR agrees, calls Rukku at home.
Rukku's house - Rukku and Anu are making chapathis. The phone rings, Rukku asks Anu to answer it. Anu goes and answers, it is RR and his first words are (thinking it is Rukku) - I hope you didn't tell Anu anything. Anu is puzzled, tells him it is her, not Rukku, and wants to know what it is that she is not supposed to know (aah, how I wished he had blabbered a little more!), and he samalichufies that it was about some business problem that he had discussed with Ganesh, and he didn't want to bother Anu with it. Anu swallows his story, as usual, and goes to call Rukku. Rukku says, how can she come, she is making chapathis (aduppai off paNNa mudiyaadhaa?) and Anu dutifully reports it to RR, who now knows that Rukku is not going to talk to him. He hangs up, and Anu takes leave of Rukku and Ganesh.

Wednesday 11th May 2011 Episode - 270
Palli at AAR's house being served coffee. Compliments AAR on the coffee, says it has the same taste as Anu's coffee (edhukkuthaan comparison nu oru vevasthayE illaama pOchchu) Says she is a fan of Anu's coffee would give up anything for the cuppa - except her husband. (adapaavi, oru cup coffeekku husbanda vittu koduththiyaana...) Rukku's face changes. Asks Palli if hers was a love marriage. Palli answers with a yes and no (un badhil unna maadhiri rendumkettaan) Explanation follows. Yes because she fell in love with him the moment she saw him. No because it was arranged marriage on her husband's side. Palli was in college when her parents started looking for a groom. Ganesh joins them. Palli asks about his business, Rukku had told that Anu's husband is guiding him. Rukku's mind voice says he is not only Anu's husband. Ganesh looks at Rukku uneasily. (ellaarum neLiyarOm, neLiya vEndiyavanga thavira) Palli wants her husband and Anu's husband to meet. But that never seems to happen. She has a doubt. What doubt prompts Ganesh. Her doubt is that if Anu's husband knows her husband. Rukku's heart almost out through her mouth. She controls herself. Palli goes on - Balu and Meenakshi who are staying with Anu's MIL are very well known to her hubby. Anyway they would meet atleast at the wedding of Shreenithi and Karthik. Any news about Shreenithi Rukku enquires. No news yet, but Palli is sure that she is safe somewhere. Palli had hurt her very badly, once that is healed she would be back (healingkku any marundhu pOtteengaLaa madam??) Both sets of parents have accepted to the wedding, but Paatti once saw Palli and Karthik at them temple and said very angrily that Shreenithi would never accept to the wedding. Rukku is thoughtful. Palli did not know it was Anu's MIL then. Rukku and Ganesh uncomfortable. Palli wants to say thanks and sorry to Paatti. Why - Rukku's look asks. Palli's monologue continues. Thanks is for hosting Balu & Meenakshi (why should she say thanks for that) Sorry is because Palli has hurt paatti somehow, somewhere - thats why. Palli is on her way to Anu's, wants to take her along to meet paatti. Thanks Rukku for the coffee and leaves. Rukku gives a OMG look, Ganesh doesnt know what to do.
Shreenithi calls Jennifer, asks about some revised plan. Jennifer wants to talk to Shreenithi about her personal matter, go ahead says Shreenithi. Jennifer wants to know why she is avoiding Karthik. Shreenithi wants to stay miles away from him, Why Jennifer wants to know. So much of confusion in his family, let him have peace. Jennifer wants to know if she is sacrificing her love and herself. Says whatever she is doing right now is asattuthanam, Karthik is suffering without seeing her, lo lo nu alainjing in search of her, Jennifer sometimes feels like telling Shreenithi's hide out, but she would not without Shreenithi's permission. Think well and decide advice doled out. Shreenithi is firm on her decision. It may pain now, but out of sight out of mind - your life your decision concludes Jennifer with an offer to help with anything anytime.
Palli goes to have her cuppa at Anu's house. Anu wants to know why the surprise visit. Palli thought Anu might shout at her in anger for being a pest (adhathaan naanga seyyarOmE) Anu wouldnt get angry and if she does, she would not display it, manasukkuLLa thittuvEn. Adhu pOdhum replies Palli - both of them laugh over it - joke aam. Palli wants to make a trip to Anu's MIL. Anu mennu muzhingies. Palli asks if she has any work. Anu's hubby will come home for lunch. Very lucky replies Palli, her husband eppavumE canteen food thaan (wife samaikkardhu canteen foodaa - RR unakku idhukkunE thookula pOdaNum) Anu says sorry, Palli wants to leave after Anu's husband finishes his lunch, she can also meet him. Anu cannot come to her MIL's house even after that. Palli notes the change in her facial expression, wants to know what the problem is (neethaan problemE) a true friend must tell the truth (true friend's husband name theriyumaa ungaLukku??) Anu's telling might be shocking to Palli - her MIL doesnt want to meet Palli. Couldnt tell it directly, so Anu was dilly dallying. Palli distraught (but why should she bother if Anu's MIL doesnt want to meet her - vichithram) Palli wants the reason why Anu's MIL doesnt want to see her, she did not divulge the reason to Anu. Couldnt pester her... Palli hasnt met her, but Anu's MIL has seen her at the hospital - Balu, Meenakshi's episode at the hospital. Palli is dumbstruck. Anu tells her not to bother about athai's anger, Palli justifies the anger as paasam on Shreenithi. She will take Shreenithi and Karthik to Athai's - then her anger will disspate. Thanks Anu for telling the truth and leaves...

Thursday- Episode 271
AAR and Ganesh having a mottaimaadi conference. AAR says she wants to go to Anu's athai's house and enquire about what she knows about RR's double timing lifestyle. Ganesh thinks Paati doesnt know about RR's affairs but AAR feel she must know about it. She doesnt want to wait until RR returns from Kumbakonam. AAR wants to meet Paati to clarify all the truth. Ganesh feels AAR should hold her actions because of the people she may hurt. Ganesh feels they have to wait to hear what is RR's story and there may be some justifcation behind it (unbelievable!!). AAR complies with his request.
Jenny in Kumbakonam in hospital with Sundu and RR, who are reporting the contracts have been signed successfully. Doctor comes and discharges Jenny advising her to rest. Jenny leaves with Sundu and RR.
Balu on the phone with someone telling them to sell his house in mannaargudi, sayng they dont plan to move there. Patti is surprised both Balu and Meenakshi have the same view. Paati asks them what will happen when Shreenidhi gets married, will they move in with her? Balu says yes, they will definitely move in with her (how come its only their decision). Meenakshi is confident Shree will agree to keep her parents with her. Paati advises them to be careful as things may sour. Balu says he is also selling the house to fund Shree's wedding, even though Gayathri will spend for the wedding as well. Paati says she considers him her son, so she will spend for Shree's wedding. Balu agrees, Paati looks triumphant.
Anu's son Santhosh with friends, coercing him to drink alcohol. He refuses, saying he wants cool drinks only, but they spike his drink.
Anu at dinner table with daughter, Santhosh stumbles in. Mummy asks him to eat, he refuses, and she senses he is slurring. She figures he is drunk and asks him to get out. Santhosh refuses and Anu starts beating him. He also raises his hand against his mother, and they have an argument. Santhosh expresses Anu has not been a good mother that she hasnt tried to get a good job for him in his father's company. Because of that he was overcome with avamaanam that he drank (he really has no self pride obviously). He locks himself into the room, leaving a crying Anu in the hall...thodarum,,
