Part 3

Cradling a glass of whisky in his hands, Maan was in his study staring into space thinking about the day events. He was still intoxicated in the beauty of Geet. "Geet, what a beautiful name"' he thought. At least now he knows the name of the girl who has had him completely besotted. The icing on the cake was that she was Rishab uncle's daughter. Maan could not believe that he has actually found a fairy, like the one that his grandmother always wanted to bring into his life. He always thought that fairies looked best in story books but now he wanted that fairy in his life to turn around his life into a fairy tail.

"Love at first sight," he actually laughed at his own thought. If ever his staffs and business colleagues ever heard of Maan Singh Khurana falling in love, they would have a heart attack and maybe the Sanjeevani hospital of Delhi would not be able to hold so many emergencies. "The arrogant, short tempered, tough looking Maan Singh Khurana falling in love"- quite a sensational news for the press. He can imagine that papers selling like hot cake.

"I need to talk to Rishab uncle as soon as possible. I don't want to miss the best thing that has happen in my life since the death of Dadima," Maan said to himself. "I still can't believe that I'm in love" chuckled Maan. "Let me phone Rishab uncle right now". Maan was in the process of calling Rishab when his eyes fell on the clock, it was 2 o'clock in the morning. "Maan you are getting crazy man, I heard that love makes people do crazy things and you are confirming that theory. See you have been talking to yourself ever since you came home from the party. Thank god, Geet is Rishab uncle's daughter or else you would have been looking for her in every hook and nook like a Devdas" Maan said aloud.

He climbed up the stairs, leaving the study and entered his room, tossing himself onto the bed. He clutched his pillow tight and went to sleep with a huge smile onto his face.

Part 4

Maan woke up to the first rays of the sun streaming from his window. He groaned and hid his face further into the pillow as he was having a wonderful dream concerning Geet. As much as he wanted he could not sleep any further as the dream was already broken. He stifled a yawn and sat on the bed. He them stretched his hand to grab the watch kept on the bedside table. He was astonished to see the time as it was already past eight. Normally he would wake up at 5 everyday in the morning for his exercises but then today was an exception for everything in his life. He had never been so happy. As soon as he remembered Geet, he dashed to the bathroom to take his shower.

He quickly took one and got himself ready in bare minutes to go and visit the Malhotra's. He was combing his hair and stood admiring himself in the mirror for a few minutes. "I am not so bad myself, in fact there are thousands of girls who would die to be Mrs. Maan Singh Khurana. So my dear Geet you should consider yourself very lucky that I have selected you for that tile" he said arrogantly to his image in the mirror.

He rushed the down the stairs and halted in his steps when he heard his servant calling him. "Sir, your breakfast". "I'm not hungry john, I'll have something later", Maan responded to his query before going out of the house to the garage where his fleet of cars were kept. He selected his favourite red sports car and climbed in. he put the gear in the car and exited the gates of Khurana mansion to go towards the Malhotra bungalow. He had already called Rishab to tell him that he was coming round his house to talk about something important.

Maan was driving in full speed to reach at the Malhotra's as he was really excited and wish that today turn out to be the best day in his life. He could only hope that Rishab and his family have no objection to this alliance. He entered the driveway of the Malhotra's and stopped the car at the entrance. He climbed and as soon as he entered he was greeted by a smiling but overtired Rishab.

Rishab: Hi beta, how are you?

Maan: Fine uncle

Rishab: Come, let's have breakfast together.

Maan: No, it's ok. Actually I wanted to talk to you about something important.

Rishab: Yes

Maan was about to tell Rishab about what was in his heart and for what he had come when he saw Renuka rushing towards Rishab crying.

Renuka: Rishab'''.Rishab'''.woh

Rishab: Renu, what happened? Why are you crying?-he asked worryingly

Renuka: Rishab'''..woh Geet''''.she pointed to Geet's room unable to say anything more
