Which stars can still ensure a good opening at bo?

😭 It seems like these days it is hard to ensure a good opening at the box office. Obviously, the script and content matter. The audience is wising up and is seeing through Akshay. His latest Thank You did not open to a stellar first week, but managed to recoup its costs. SRK, Aamir, Salman can still ensure a good opening. But, also lately, Hritik and Abhishek have suffered a lot as well. Their films bit the dust to. The only actress that can ensure a good opening is Katrina, others are debatable since actresses really do not guarantee an initial!

After Dhobi Ghat,Billu Barber,Mr and Mrs Khanna..Guzaarish..

No one can guarantee a good opening..

I think Katrina the only female star I can think of... based on her previous movies

I use to think Katrina. But now, I think the audience only want to see her with Akki and Ranbir. Her films with Salman don't do well. If she insures a good boxoffice opening, than her films with Salman should open well too. According to boxoffice india, Yuvraaj didn't open well. And also not all her films do well, DDD with Akki didn't do so well...it was above average or something like that.

Am gonna believe she has good box office opening if her film with imran (who is not a big star like Akki) will open well...than I will give her credit. I know some will say how about New york? John is no big star. And that opened well. But Dostana also opened well and that had no big star in it. And PC's boxoffice record is not that strong. At the end of the day, Katrina needs a good movie/trailer, an actor who the audience like her with (ranbir or akki) to ensure a good opening in the boxoffice.

But yes she does have a better boxoffice record than most of the actress in bollywood I do give her credit for that.I think it's also because she knows what audience like more than other actress. I for one enjoy her films more than PC and Deepika ect...Because she has the best of films. I loved almost all her films except TMK and Yuvraaj and DDD...and what you know...it's those films also that didn't do so well. I just proved my point. :P
