US claims that most of it was done by themselves.
But there will be some repercussions, but matter of time and all the terrorists will be gone. They are there mostly for money and nothing else. They need someone to finance them.
In the long run it will be good for Pakistan to get rid of these no good terrorists.
If not today tomorrow the scorpions will sting.

Analysis

image of Aleem Maqbool Aleem Maqbool BBC News, Abbottabad

The early morning serenity makes it all more extraordinary that the world's most wanted man was hiding here and ultimately killed here. People are still stunned by the news he was living among them.

President Zardari has said he could not possibly have known he was there, but the Pakistanis are going to have a very tough time deflecting that criticism.

Mr Zardari - and other officials including the prime minister - have talked about security co-operation with the US over years, ultimately leading to this point. But they have had to concede that this was solely a US operation.

It is interesting they are stressing so much that the Pakistanis were not involved, because they are worried about a militant backlash.

There are thousands of Islamist militants still living in the tribal areas - for them Bin Laden was a hero. So it is not just the authorities but the public that is worried about the repercussions on the streets. It is civilians that have borne the brunt of the war on terror and they are really fearful that Osama Bin Laden's death is not going to bring an end to that at all.

Maybe I'd bother typing up a proper reply if your poll was slightly less biased.

Just a young kid fearing for her life I guess😆
Now accusations are that Pakistan has been sheltering terrorists. Which means there are more of them in Pakistan.
Still I do expect some krazy Taliban to set off some bombs in mosques n shopping centres again.
I do feel sorry for the common people there.

OH I see.
Still I have some IF friends in Pakistan too and hope they are safe.
They expect another attack on India too by Al-Qaeda. The Kashmir issue is still not resolved.

If they are that concerned about its people's welfare why dont they first concentrate on building better amenities in the areas they do have? Why the obsession with what they dont have-unless its just diversion tactics from getting down to real issues facing its people!

Pakistan is not doing enough to get rid of the terrorists and it is not easy either unless the Govt has a strong control of the country.
People are scared of the Talibans generally.
The whole country is one big mess right now but things will slowly improve.
