| | | CRAZY IN LOVE: Jasweer Kaur with Aziz Pic: Pradeep Dhivar | Smriti of K Street Pali Hill has a new man in her life. No, not in the serial but in real life.
Jasweer Kaur has been living in with her actor boyfriend Aziz since February 14 last year and has no qualms admitting that. "We never get time to see each other since he's from Dubai, so decided to live together," she says. Who's the man? His name is Aziz and he's based in Dubai. He came down to Mumbai three years ago to become a Bollywood star. He is already a big star in Dubai and has done Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical Bombay Dreams.
After coming here, he did Uff…Kya Jadoo Mohabbat and also did a Hinglish movie called Love is Like Us. Now he is doing a movie in the south with T Rajendra. How did you meet? I was assisting choreographer Terence Lewis in Ooty for Uff…Kya Jadoo for a month and we met on the sets. Both Aziz and me are mischievous and similar in a lot of ways so we got along well. That was in November 2002. On December 16, when I was about to fly back to Mumbai, he went on his knees and proposed to me. The sweetest thing he's ever done? Everyday he does something or the other to make my day. 5 things you like about him:
He's fun loving, loves me a lot, does a lot of crazy things, is very forgetful and extremely soft-hearted. 5 things he likes about you: • He loves the way I talk. He can't bear to see me quiet! • He knows I'm crazy and loves me for it. • He is sometimes scared about my forthrightness but likes that aspect of my personality. • He knows that I love him a lot and we fight about who loves the other more. • He loves me the way I am. What do you dislike about him? There are times when I'm talking to him and trying to explain something and he'll say, 'Yeah.' Then I say something else entirely different and he'll go 'Yeah' again! It's cute at times, but not every time! Is marriage on the cards? We've been planning our wedding for the last three months. He wants to get married in Dubai. We'll have a nikah ceremony there and come back for the rest. But it keeps getting postponed as something keeps coming up. Our wedding may happen anytime: next week or six months later! thelist@mid-day.com |
