The latest fashion accessory on "Gossip Girl" is .. a tracking ankle bracelet, as displayed by Lily Vanderwootsen. And from the first 30 seconds, we know she's going to have to make it work at the Pink party. (I know, a party on "Gossip Girl." Don't these people ever chill with "Veronica Mars" on Netflix?) Dan is doing a little reporting for Paris Match. He has to stalk a prince who is visiting the city. The prince whom no one is supposed to know about. It's the same prince who flirted with Blair last season in Paris. Because there are no other princes in the whole wide world. The prince does have a nice jawline, just saying. The prince likes Blair, but his parents are sad because Blair's a commoner. Have they NOT heard of Wills and Kate? Big wedding? Oh, French prince, mon dieu, c'est triste. When we last left Serena, she had received a voice mail from Vanessa that Bland kissed. Serena's new BFF, her cousin Charlie, is stalking Dan to check it out. But Dan is stalking the prince, who is meeting with Blair. But Serena doesn't know about the prince, so she thinks.. oh this is just stupid. Serena and Dan aren't dating. She's blown him off at least a quadrillion times, the last with prison boy. Nate is hanging with Reina, who was dating Chuck, whose father allegedly was complicit in killing Reina's mother in some fire. Reina no longer believes her mother is dead. They think she's alive in Jersey, but nope. Chuck is sad. Sad because his Blair left him and he is all alone, meandering around in a Hefneresque robe. Blair is creating some weird twist with Dan to go to the party. Something about pretending she's with Dan so no one will know she's with the prince. Serena will also be at the party. Let us all be shocked that everyone will be at the party and it will all go down there. Am I the only one wondering why the writers cannot think of any other plot ending, ever? Lily is being super dissed by her friends, who are party planning without her. But Serena blackmails someone and the party is moved to Lily's so she can play. Here we are at the party. Blair's plan backfires when a video of she and Dan kissing (to fool the prince's watcher) gets posted on Gossip Girl. No one believes it was just a joke, including Serena (who shouldn't care!) and the prince. I do like Blair's pretty pink dress though. Serena and Blair have a fight. Blair says Serena always wants the spotlight. Serena is mad. Police break up the party. Lily decides she wants to sit in and watch Netflix for the next nine months with Rufus, who clearly does nothing at all anymore. Dan finds out it was Vanessa who called Serena in the first place and tells Vanessa she's banned. Again. The prince and Blair smooch, which did not make anyone ill. And Chuck gets security tapes from the night of the fire, when Reina's mother was never heard from again. Or was she?
