Jay to host Li'l Champs

Popularly known as Ishaan of Sasural Genda Phool, Jay Soni will be hosting his first-ever non-fiction show.

He has been signed on to anchor the new season of Li'l Champs, which will replace Dancing Ke Superstars in June.

Jay will be hosting the show with last season's child hosts Afsha Musani and Dhairya Sonecha. According to the channel's non-fiction head Ashish Golwalkar, Jay is a natural choice because he is a mature actor but at the same time child-like.

Says Jay, "I have grown up watching Antakshari and Sa Re Ga Ma. As a child my secret desire was to be on stage and sing my heart out."
