Maan woke up to the sound of banging on the door. Geet switched on the bed lamp and saw maan putting his pillow on the bed next to hers. He left the blanket there too. Geet lifted the blanket and threw it in the dressing room and closed the door. Meanwhile maan switched on the lights in the room. It was kavya and kabir who wanted to meet their bro right away. Kavya looked behind Maan, a young woman who seemed more like a girl was standing in blue top with big tweety bird in the front along with blue pyajamas. She was rubbing her eyes trying to adjust to the sudden light in the room.

Kavya ' bhai ye geet hai? OMG ye to koi kid hai'

Geet opened her eyes at the comment and tried to look at the woman infront of her. She seemed pretty fashionable with makeup at this time of the night. It was freshly applied as it wudnt have lasted the long journey from London. Geet plastered a smile for them.

Kavya ' bhai aye nahi to meine socha aap dono se raat mein hi mil lu. Hi bhabhi. Hope u have no problem if we talk for sometime.

Geet ' hi. No problem.

They quickly came in and settled on the couch before geet had replied. Geet and maan followed. They both were sitting on the same couch at the two corners. Dev and NT excused themselves as they were feeling sleepy. They had gone to receive them. Moreover NT basically didn't like kavya as she was always show off queen and wud at every next moment try to down cast NT for being backward and outdated.

Kavya was on with her long stories about the trip. Maan was there with his usual hhmm and haan. Geet plastered a smile or nodded whenever she looked at her. Kabir seemed to be more sensible he urged kavya many times to go to sleep but she never agreed.

Kavya ' geet u wear these toe rings? They are worn by south Indians right?

She asked pointing to the silver toe ring geet was wearing in her toes since marriage. Even maan had not marked this. Well he rarely checked her out so closely.

Geet ' yeah. But it is worn in many traditions in India post marriage. My mother used to wear one so I wore it when I got married.

Kavya ' how desi types.

Kabir ' but u know abroad its highly in fashion.

Kavya ' by the way y do u wear such night dress. They are so childish. I expected some sexy lingerie for bhai's wife.

Geet ' ah these are comfortable. I prefer them. She looked at maan with I will kill her expression. Maan cut out of her. He had nothing to say.

Kavya again began with her latest Europe trip as her purpose of showing off was over. Geet looked at her and mumbled thora kam bolo varna makeup gir jaega.

She had whispered but maan heard it he smiled at geet. Geet got a little embarrassed seeing maan had heard her. She lowered her gaze but they both were smiling.

After sometime geet dosed off on the couch but kavya was not to stop. Then maan finally said ' kavya ab sote hai. Raat bhut ho gayi hai.

Kavya ' haan bhabhi is so uncourteous vo to so gayi.

Maan ' vo thak gayi hai and raat bhut ho gayi hai. Im feeling sleepy too. He literally shoved her out of the room.

He came back to sleeping geet after closing the door. He thought for a few moments and then lifted her to take her to the bed. As he laid her down she opened her eyes. FM gayi?

Maan was liking her talk as her usual self. She wasn't speaking to him for past week. Daadima had complained too so her being back to her normal was good. He continued teasing her so that she speaks more.

He picked his pillow and then searched for his blanket.

He opened the room, blanket lay on the floor. He shouted rakh diya ya phek diya?

Geet bit her tongue. Vo jaldi mein. Aapki sis darwaja tor deti agar mein use thik se rakhne jaati. Aur yahan rahta to thik nahi dikhta na.two blankets.

Geet looked here and there. Yahi so jao. she said slowly. Subah nakul store se dusri blanket la dega. Aj mere sath adjust kar lijye.

Maan looked in other direction and combed his hand thru his hair.

Mein so rahi hu. Sona hai to mere sath to so jao. Varna aapki marzi. Mujhe koi problem nahi hai.

She slept on one side leaving the rest blanket behind her. She was basically waiting for him to break his hesitation and join her. Blanket had unknowingly become a good reason to break his mental barrier.

5min past he was still not in bed.

Thand bhut hai. Bimaar parne pe mein responsible nahi hu. She turned got up. Invitation card nahi bhejungi aur aapka rape bhi nahi karungi so jao.

Mera rape aur tum? He questioned her surprisingly with both hands on his waist.

Haan. mein kar sakti hu par mein karungi nahi. Vaise couch pe sone pe bhi ho sakta hai.

Geet giggled. Her laugh broke all hesitations and he smiled. He slowly lay next to her, turned in opposite direction and they both slept.

dnt worry geet will go for lingerie shopping. this is just the first night gals.

Geet ' aap jaoge tab to mein change karungi.

Maan ' im changing in the room and will go down. Tum pehle apni dress to decide karlo.
