😆 Ok, now all of you will assume I am opening this topic to upset Katrina fans and make others bash her on purpose. But, we can still have a topic and discuss it constructively! I have made topics on Katrina before and all of them got a excellent response. So, I am anticipating this one will as well. The question I want to ask, when will Katrina Kaif make a film her own? Will that ever happen?
This is Katrina's 9th year in the film industry. She still has not one memorable performance to call her own. Some will argue Raajneti, Namastey London, or even New York. But, that calls for a debate in the truest sense. Katrina still has to make a film her own. Even the upcoming Zoya film with Hritik or her next film with Imran Khan for Yash Raj do not look to be memorable either!
HDDCS and Jab We Met are examples of blockbusters with a strong female lead. Those movies would not have been successful without the talent and grace of Aishwarya or the spontaniety of Kareena.
All other super blockbuster hits between and since have not really relied on a strong female lead.
Movies like Black were awesome with a great performance by Rani, or KHNH with Priety, but were not blockbusters. Even Vidya's acting in Paa and Ishqiya made those profitable ventures! And what about PC in Fashion?? Fashion was not a flop and it did good business for its makers.
So, please share your thoughts. When will Katrina Kaif make a film her own?
