Hi you're Shalini right? I'm Aysha. Thank you for this post. After the last couple of days, think we all needed a bit of positivity.
Without having read the other responses, just wanted to throw in my two cents!
I have no objections regarding the current track, because it means that the focus is on the K family who i personally love! Although there is slightly more focus on Khanak right now, as long as Shanak tackle the issues together, i'm ok with that too. But I won't deny that my heart craves for a good storyline for Shanak.
Regarding the IPL rationalisation, i truly hope this is not the case and here's why. Once the IPL is over, something else will come along in the form of another national/international sporting event. Or maybe some non-sport related event will take place. Should the CV's really let that interfere with what they show us? I think not.
I say the above points with KT, YM and the entire RBO unit in mind. If they keep showing a disjointed storyline, then everybody suffers - not just the audience. We might be left unhappy, but what about all the people who work so hard to put the show on air for us?!
And if Karan's reduced appearance in the show is for the reason you stated, then i would want for the storywriters to be more creative when thinking of future plots. That way we're happy, KT/YM'S efforts are worth it, and as a consequence the RBO team are happy as they are getting the appreciation they want and deserve!
I'll finish off by saying i love RBO like everybody else here. We have supported the show through it's highs and lows, and i have every faith we will continue to do so...
