TOTAL WORD :2058 (It is still a newsletter.......😉😛😃 do read on)
Thursday's episode has the entire cast present except Rakeswa and Purushottam. It focuses on the three young Takur marriages. Kesar bends over backwards to serve KN, Krishna and Prats have business to attend but bend under the pressure of Komal's drama and Komal is bent out of shape. Adarsh and Komal have a tiff, Komal packs her bag and returns to maike to serve a tray of half-baked truths. Adarsh is summoned by SS to the Niwas pronto. Krishna calls Komal's act like it is, just her regular penchant for notanki. KN gets his wifely perks back after a drought phase and begins to kill her spirit all over again making up for lost time.
Shamu wants to know why Naina let Komal cook meat at home when his mother, a religious and God fearing woman who lives with them finds it offensive. Well, Dadi finds a lot of things offensive, so when do the rest of the family stop pandering to her every whim and fancy so they don't resent her presence and wish she got lost? Granted in this case, Komal's actions are intended to annoy them . She knows the rules of the family yet behaves like a kid usings negative behavior to ingratiate herself into the family, it never works.
Emergency: Naina needs acting classes immediately. Why is her response always over the top no matter how trivial or serious the issue? She is always grieving over ever little matter, she is just an emotional wreck. She haltingly tells Shamu that Komal threatened to move out with Adarsh. So what if she did? There are families all over the world whose adult children get to see their parents only during a vacation when they can. It's a bit too much to fall apart about not seeing her married son everyday. There is such a remarkable invention called the telephone, she could easily use it. She doesn't see or speak to Prats every day so why the big hoopla! Naina, a notanki nari!
KN taunts Kesar to return to her wifely duties. She presses his feet with a stone face while KN makes noises to indicate his enjoyment as he continues to get a reaction out of her "after a long time you must enjoy getting back to your wifely duties. You listened to Prats and messed up your life. Don't make a big deal about little stuff, I'll take care of the rest. I DON'T LIKE YOU AT ALL BUT I STILL I AM HERE WITH YOU." Is this his idea of complimenting his wife? She is a glutton for punishment. She sacrifices her peace of mind and well being for the sake of her mother who hasn't given a care about her all these years that she comes around now and calls the shots. Kesar is her own worst enemy. The people in her life that she has a close relationship with reflect that back to her about herself'.her bayil buddhi pati and Kesamma. No one can help or save her if she doesn't want that for herself.
Komal brings Adarsh a plate of fish for dinner. She toots her horn about her own cooking but Adarsh is shocked to hear she cooked it in the family kitchen and tells her she has to consider there are other people in the family. She gives him an ultimatum, if she can't do things her way she'd rather move back to maike. Adarsh tells her to do as she pleases. Let's see what she does.
What Adarsh said is nothing out of the ordinary between a couple, where a spouse tells the other "do what you want" as a way to avoid further conversation at the moment. Komal didn't like it that Adarsh was not on her corner but considered the collective sentiments of the family. Komal is not being fair. She was the one who split the kitchen not the Sax. She knows they are averse to bringing meat in, they have had no issues with her eating out and Adarsh is ready to get her some meat when she wants to eat it. Cooking fish is purely an act of defiance on Komal's part to push back at her sasural for other reasons. She always makes light of her own behavior and makes mountains out of molehills when it comes to say disparaging things about her sasural. It's about time Komal grew up. Overall what Prats endures at her sasural is far worse but we don't see her running and telling her parents about every little abuse she faces at their hands.
Krishna helps Prats get the sling off her arm. He concentrates on making sure she is not in pain as she exercises her arm. Krishna will make a great physical therapist, but only when the patient is Prats.😛Prats catches him off guard when she pretends to be in pain and has a good laugh at his expense😆. A natural and relaxing moment between them after a long time! Prats is finally warming up and engaging with Krishna in a easy manner. Krishna wants them to finish breakfast so they take a look at the new location for the Dhaba.
The entire Takur family is assembled around the dining table for nastha. SS is very happy that his two sons and their wives and the whole family is having a meal together, no problems, no complaints😃. Now why is Kesamma smiling like she's got some witch's brew boiling somewhere near by? Takurain is almost pleased though the smile doesn't quite reaches her eye when she sees Komal arrive with luggage in hand. SS may have spoken too soon. The tattle telling Takur beti has just arrived carrying a load of half-truths to paint the Saxes in a bad light. She is her mother's daughter that way.
Why does Komal take the childish tone when she wants to make herself the victim? Very annoying indeed! She makes sure she tells SS her sasural bad mouth him instead of showing gratitude. Like SS doesn't know what the Saxes think of him! She tells everyone there Adarsh never supports her and told her to leave the house. Liar, liar, pants on fire! Prats is quick to spring to her brother's defense but Komal pushes back. Not one to take anyone potshots at Prats lying down, Krishna tells Komal to cut the crap and spill the real truth. Lallantop Krishna!👏 He knows his sister's love for shenanighans.
Back at MMGJ, Adarsh is looking for Komal who is nowhere to be seen. The rest of the Sax clan is seated there ignoring him. Why are they looking at Adarsh as if they don't know who Komal is? Naina is the only one to pipe in with an answer and says she must have gone out and should be back soon.
How could Komal have managed to give them all the slip when they were eating nastha in that hall in the morning that too with luggage in hand and Adarsh still hadn't left for work? The Sax family has new furniture. Wonder who paid for it? Did Shamu get a pay raise, suddenly the Shamu residence has more pieces of furniture and accessories than ever before.
SS summons Adarsh to the Niwas to sort things out. He can't handle seeing his Komaliya this way and Adarsh agrees to show up after a few threats to his job from SS. Why is everyone lined up there with the women on the front and the men relegated to the back of the room? A Star Plus symbol! Komal makes it look like Adarsh is at fault in all this, come tomorrow it will blow up in Komal's face when the truth comes out and Krishna will praise his sasural's virtues once again😆 What else is new about that!
Komal spins her yarn to Takurain telling half-truths. She claims life at MMGJ is tough. Well that may be true to some extent with their over the top response to every trivial matter. She relates the tales about Dadi being the diramma baaz making a big deal about the TV, her fasting after Arusi is hurt and cooking the fish in their kitchen. Why are Piasiya and Kesamma listening in on her tales as if it matters to them? Who asked Kesamma's opinion here? She hasn't met any Sax member and is ready to pass judgment already? Throw that woman out. Kesar stands there and let's her mother abuse Prats's family. Can't she tell her to can it esp. when the conversation has nothing to do with her? Kesamma starts stirring her witch's brew, it's none of her business, it doesn't involve her daughter or KN? Surprisingly Takurain didn't tell her to butt out of her family's business.😲
Takurain's expression at Kesamma is priceless. She is on to the woman's tactics. Kesamma has the gall to question Takurain about the kind of family she got her daughter married into, a girl who is as tender as a fresh bloom married into a family of thorns. She's one to talk, Kesar has been abused in every possible way 'physical, mental, psychological, sexual, and emotional, that kills the human spirit. And how does she dare to comment about a family she has never laid eyes or had a glimpse of to make such a sweeping comment?
Takurain wants to know what Naina treats her at her sasural. Komal paints a picture of Naina being scared of Dadi. So is Komal on a mission to get rid of Dadi? Prats gives her the blank look (I love it ) and that stirs Komal into rambling she isn't making things up, why would she exaggerate, just what happens at MMGJ. Who ever said anything to Komal about exaggerating things, except her conscience is reminding her she is😛. When is Komal ever going to see she is also responsible for creating these diraamas? She's got to learn never to carry tales between the two homes, no ladder will ever connect these two families. In other words their worlds and their outlook in life are like oil and water.
Krishna doesn't like Prats wasting time with Komal's shenanighans, after all his sister has great interest in creating a ruckus with her diraamabaaz and he only knows her too well. He wants Prats to accompany him to see the location for the Dhaba so he can move things along. But Prats feels it's important to resolve the matter since Adarsh is coming over. She knows how her sasural will rake her family members through the coals for their behavior so she convinces Krishna they'll go after the Komal notanki is resolved.
Back at MMGJ, Arusi wants to ride with Arushi to take care of some work in the vicinity of his bank. Since when did she have a job or anything worth mentioning to do outside the house? She's not continuing her computer course neither is she tutoring kids outside the house as far as we know so what is she up to these days? Just venturing out to see if KN will come after her again?😛 Adarsh declines her request and tells his family he's not going in to work just yet, but on his way to his sasural. The Saxes watch on in shock. Does this mean Dadi is on her way to the ashram she requested Shamu to send her just a day or two ago? Is Komal beginning to dismantle the Sax family one member at a time or this her excuse to move out of MMGJ with Adarsh and live life on her terms?
Preview: Krishna calls his sasurji and wants to know how they could toss Komal out of their home. Shamu shudders as he poses a question himself why they would do such a thing to their bahu leaving Krishna listening with a puzzled look. Looks like Krishna is getting the other side of the story so that when Adarsh shows up he can present the side of the story that Adarsh or the Takurs are privy to just yet. Krishna going for a preemptive strike before his family blames him for being responsible for Komal being married into the Sax family.
