Meera and yash wanted to cross check their intuition so they planned a group outing before they tried to set up karan and geet. The group was invited for a party by yash as they had worked hard for his mother's party. He said we all who worked must relax. Yash called karan.
Y ' bhai.. where r u?
K ' obviously office' im not like u roaming about after ur classes.
Y ' bhai dnt u have better things to do at times.. like party.
K ' no u all continue.
Y ' but bhai I wanted u to meet someone. Someone I like.
K ' another crush of yours no way I dnt want to'
Y ' no bhai im serious this time that's y I want u to meet her before I tell ma papa.
K ' ok where? And who is she? Someone I knw?
Y ' yes u have met her at ma's party..
K sounded low immediately ' ok.
His low voice was a conformation that he was assuming it to be geet and is sad.
Y ' yippee half done. Bhai has some feelings for geet. Lets see what geet does after seeing him.
Meera ' I hope everything goes well. This girl will practice celibacy if she lives with that tom boy nuts. Larko ko dekhegi comment paas karegi but baat karne samay muh band kar legi. U knw Romeo told me a nice man was totally down for her in their weekend classes and he was high placed professional in some khurana construction. Look he was a well settled guy and decent and was smart too. ( who will tell them she is married to the owner of khurana empire itself what to talk of employees' many persons are getting ready for bashings from Mr khurana.. LOL) Nuts scolded him one day and idiot geet also supported her. Romeo tells me the guy was good. But u knw karan bhai wud be best for geet. I really want her to have a nice partner in life and is not dumped with anyone. Especially bcoz she is so good.
Yash ' yeah so lets tell everyone to be at the same thai place ' dragons ball for lunch.
Everyone was happy for it was a get out from the usual hectic schedule. They buzzed into the restro. It was unusually quite at the early lunch hour. But soon was filled with the giggles of the gang. Yash looked back as karan had yet not arrived and there plan was not going to be a success if he was late.
Sight of karan brought smile on two faces yash and mere. They both turned to look at geet's reaction she smiled at karan and karan seemed a bit gloomy. They moved with the plan of seating karan and geet together. As soon as karan pulled achair for geet as they were walking in together, meera followed geet closely. Geet sat on the chair and meera slipped in on the other side of geet before nuts got to reach her. On the other side karan sat. yash was sitting along with meera that was known to all so nuts was at a distance from geet as riya sat opposite to her. First step of shooing nuts away was done, both smiled at each other. Now the second point y is karan so gloomy.. he sounded great on meeting the gang.
Yash inorder to bring the conversation in full go introduced meera. Y ' bhai she is meera. U remember her. He made signs to make him understand that she is the one.
K smiled with a surprise. His hopes were crushed for the thought that he was mentioning geet on the phone. He looked at geet then back at meera and gave a big cherry smile. K ' u knew each other for 3yrs and nw u realize u have feelings for her?
To this geet started laughing.
G ' u knw karan.. hey can I call u karan no bhai ahhh?
K ' oh sure call me karan. He hurried in before she cud settle for bhai. That day in the hurry of cooking many formalities of this type was not done.
G ' so I was saying karan that u never knw whom u want to spend life with. Sometimes u knw with the first look or meet but sometimes it takes years to understand u like him or her but at times u realize when u have lost the opportunity. It is ur fate. But I dnt believe in sitting ideal for the sign board. She winks at meera.
That was one more plus point for the duo to proceed with the plan. Now they started a debatable topic fromlast lecture. Anything related to studies and nuts will bang her head into it. Romeo too participated in it. Meera made it a point that all heads were focused on to it. Riya could gather only few things rest was OHT ( over head transmission) for her. But she pulled in all her wits to gather more as exams were approaching. Yash swiftly passed the menu to geet and karan and asked them to order for all.
Geet and karan got privacy in the crowd too coutesy yash and meera.
K ' what do u want to have?
G ' im new to this cuisine. Last time I had a soup that was spicy I liked it let me see the names. All the names seem so familiar to me that I tend to forget.
K smiled at her straight forwardness. Hw easily and innocently she stated this. Many ladies which he wud go for meetings or the social gathering wud just fake some tantrums to hide their ignorance. But this was geet no pomp and show. She was clear in her head and liked it that way.
K ' let me introduce you to the cuisine then. The food is often strong in flavor until u ask bland. Spicy or sour curries with rice as staple dish. U compliment rice dishes with an array of dishes like soups, sauces and other side dishes........
He went on and on and in between they ordered and geet keenly listened to him questioning him at times. Geet had learnt that if u want to progress learn whatever is handy it will help u someday. They drifted from one cuisine to the other and about each other likes and dislikes and so on oblivious to the heated discussion around them. Geet loved food and was flowing with the topic.
They gained a lot of comfort together and were now laughing over some other things. Karan also found it easy as he was very reserved types never opened easily with girls. The girls he met belonged to the social circle of his parents who were always busy flaunting their new expensive dress or throwing some high air about themselves. This was a let down for him. Geet was very natural and this made karan open up and talk to her.
Both talked as they ate. Then there was goodbye time.
Yash and meera knew they were successful so now it was time for an official date.
so finally a long one. phewww... i knw the precap is same this time also as the official date. but some of u requested me to go in detail as i had not given the details in the intro of karan and geet in the cake baking. so this one was to satisfy them. i know the story hasnt moved as fast as i wanted. i wud have written more to complete the date but im tired. i will give u the date tommorow.
