I just want to say that SSBN is the best serial ever and if that is not so than it is definitely one of the best! I really love the protagonist Naina because I have not ever seen such a great character who is so inspirational for her never-giving-up attitude and daredevil nature mixed with innocence. All other characters like Akruthi, Ayii, Rohini, Kaka are so realistic. This show does not use unnaturally negative characters to drag the show. It has a great plot and story-line. Its very entertaining and sensible as well. I love the music as well.
So why is it that Star Plus is telecasting it at a time when so few people can watch it? If it were telecasted at a prime time slot it could have achieved a great deal of success and TRP. Many people do not know that the serial exist. At the afternoon time, students and working people can't watch it. So many average serials get more recognition due to their time of telecast. So what does SSbN lack. Many serials are shifted from the evening slot to the afternoon slot after it fails to perform well. Why does SSBN not get a chance? SSBN deserves it! Not even a repeat telecast? SSBN is ranked at number 17 at the chaskameter and the lead actors have ranks of 52 and 53 though its watched by comparitively few people! I too watch it on the net, always, as do many, I guess.
Does Star Plus have any enmity with the SSBN team, I wonder?
Please, please, please put this show at a prime time slot because more people can watch it! The cast also need more recognition

i totally understand what u r sayign, but it doesnt look like star plus or the producation team or the SSBN team are unaware of it ... if u look at the articles, both Naina and Daksh have commented on the after-noon slot in their interview ... i think for the time being alll of them are happy being on the afternoon slot ... although some of us may not be .... and another thing is that i prefer SSBN to be in after-noon slot, coz they are away from the risk of ending - currently shows that are in the prime time are comiing to an end even after doing so well.... take CCBM for example, i cant believe its ending .... even tho wen u look at CM its number 2, surely they cant be doing that bad .....
i would love for SSBN to be in evening, but that adds to risk of closure .... tahts the only thing

I can see your point. But you know what I just love to watch over the old episodes of SSBN its so interesting! So you see I feel that the serial and the actors could get all the fame and attention that they deserve as more people could watch it!

i know, if there is a slot they should definately move it .... but right now they seem to be safe in the after-noon slot .... they do need the fame and recognition and the sotry-line is also different.... but i dont want it to be at risk with the other shows ....

In an interview with Parvati Vaze, They mention the wheter it bothers her that the show wasn't in the prime time slot. She said that originally the show was supposed to be in primetime but a couple days before the show was aired, they pushed it back. It did bother her a little bit but she noticed that a lot of shows in primetime weren't doing so well and she felt that being in primetime would give a lot of expectations. She's happy with where their at right now.

Of all the serials now shown, I too find SSBN outstanding on many counts.

1. Actors and Actresses are doing a fantastic job. No over acting at all.
2. The director/directors, too are visualizing the story in the modern international standards, as trail-blazed by the US cine makers.
3. All component crew, lighting, camera men, music, set designers, art work, etc, is of the highest order.
5. Editing, is crisp and meaningful,. You do not see lengthy scenes as in the serials which Star Plus has put in the prime slots. Shots are varied, between close ups, medim shots, long shots, flash shots etc. A hall mark of good classical movie making.

the only conclusion I can draw, is Star Plus depends on statistics of TRP. If the bulk of the viewers are below average, and can not understand the niceties of cine making, and need very detailed explanatory shots, and dialogs, to make them understand the plot, with plenty of soliloquies, it is not the fault of Star Plus. One notices from the feed back of viewers of SSBN in this Forum, is that they are graduates, working people, students, Young, living in foreign countries, and accustomed to international standards. This is a tiny section for Star Plus, and that could be the reason, why they give this serial a low priority, but out of recognition of the existence of this niche viewer class, they have given this serial a chance. Let us get more intelligent people to back it up, and as the flood expands, the TRP also will show up, and Star Plus will get the courage to take the leap. Just like Anna Hazare, we should start an awareness campaign, in the press and in this forum. Write in the Blogs, and try the word of mouth as well. Use the Face Book and Twitter.

Thats very well said walquest. I wrote so much because I really hope this show gets more recognition. Sadly we can only expect those shows to be liked by Star Plus which will show goody-goody sacrificing tortured bahus and evil family members and what not. Don't we need a change?
