Happy Gudi Padwa

The festival of Gudi Padwa, which is very auspicious day for all Maharashtrians as it's their new year. We asked some of our Marathi celebs from our telly town about their plans for this festive day.

It is very special festival for our family. My mom has come from Gwalior to celebrate this new year with us. She made some delicious laddus and later we will go for my cousin's engagement ceremony. So I will get to enjoy this day with all my relatives who will attend the function. There is lots happening today. As a kid, we used to have a great Gudi Padwa in Gwalior and I have many memories of this day. There were lots of Maharashtrians there so we would have fun with all the festivities and rituals.

So many festivals, always something to celebrate & someone to celebrate with!

Where are my treats? I want sabudana kheer & don't forget the ladoos!

Happy New year friends😊 N yes I too want ladoos n kheer. Heard of sabudana khichdi, kheer is new! Need to taste it now

Savi my dear you might just find me ringing your doorbell!! Offer of good food I cannot resist, that too from a fellow Bpian😆 You might just find yourself making sabudana khichdi, kheer n wadas for me while i sit in your house n watch BP reruns & sing Pee loon. Or should i say Khaa loon?🤣

Woww this sounds good, all my fellow BPians at my place having khichdi, kheer, laddoo and watching reruns of BP........I am in dreamland rukshana.

Sorry for being here soooo late, but just couldn't resist this temptation.😛 The very thought of having a get-together at Savi's place with mouth-watering delicacies like sabhudana khichdi, kheer & ladoo while watching re-runs of BP epis.....mannnnnn!!! Am mesmerized right now by dreams of this becoming a reality someday.😍😍😍 Hope at least by the next Gudi Padwa, we get a chance to celebrate our mission's success with a grannnnnnnd get-together of this sort.😉
