Hmmm...I have a strict aversion for mothers who sacrifice the concept of making a true 'family' in search of power and ambition. Look at Damini, successful business woman, but a more successful mother and friend to her children. No wonder, her children are sane, cultured, caring and sensitive.
Angad has been saved a little by , as Naina says, 'the influence of his grandmother'. Thank heavens she was around, otherwise he would have been another Kartik the slimeball. As it is, it will be a long while before Angad actually discovers himself, thanks to the overbearing presence of his overbearing mom. Less said abt Dilip, the better; ineffectual dad, husband, friend, son..etc..etc.
I agree with you Morningdew, Naina had good intentions but her way of doing things is not right. I never believed that pressurizing and forcing can get what U want. Angad would have broken down sooner or later under the immense pressure he was under always being the "superstar".Because deep down he would have realised the futility of the empty life he was leading. Kripa saved him from that fate. Naina is being too hard on him!!😒 She is too ambitious and is trying to fulfill her ambitions through Angad. Like Dadi said in one episode that Angad is like a horse with horse- blinders on the face, so he is not distracted by other things in life, which i guess are love and fun.
Damini is a good mom, she told her kids that she wants them to start managing the business and they are doing it without complaints. I think you can make your kids achievers by keeping them focused not by driving them with a whip!!

MorningDew U are right-----Naina doesn't cares about her two precious son---she only cares --how to make money by using her two son---that is her ambition----
