actually probability wouldnt be accurate because in a random sample scenario, the probability of each would be fifty-fifty...however, since the original question only referred to two people...archie should have been accurate in her assumption!!😆😆😆. However, if we consider the population as the "people on IF" then our sample would fit in perfectly. thus, if Archie had information on the population characteristics, she would still be able to make valid conjectures about the balloon gang composition by gender. phew....
