Shradhya finally severs relations and leaves
Shradhya is packing and preparing to leave, and Anusuya asks her not to leave in this condition, since she'll be thought to be lying despite telling the truth. This time, Shradhya is livid (where was that mood of yours the last 3 years, dear?) and asks what difference does it make when one father calls his son a bas***d, and one son takes a false oath on his. Anusuya begs her not to leave, but Shradhya tells her that enough is enough, picks up her bag and walks out.

On the way out, Abha stops her and asks her if she's leaving the home? Shradhya tells him no, she's severing all ties and leaving. She then walks out w/o even looking back @ Abha 👏 who looks @ her shocked.

Bhosle reveals evidence implicates Sandhya
Neeraj & Sandhya come downstairs, where the police are waiting and Neeraj tells her that he thought it necessary to tell the inspector the whole truth, which is why he did, but that doesn't mean he's not w/ her. He tells her that he knows that she didn't do this murder, so not to consider herself isolated.

Everybody comes into the living room. Inspector Bhosle tells them that according to the fingerprint reports, the fingerprints found on the crime scene were Sandhya's 😲 Sandhya is shocked to hear this, and so is everyone else. He also tells them that the evidence provided by Sarita & Mr Garodia (Dadaji) indicate that Sandhya was the last one to leave Sarla's room. Due to all this evidence, he's compelled to arrest Sandhya.

Neeraj protests Sandhya's innocence, but Bhosle tells him that the law only recognizes evidence, and not the sentiments of either of them. For now, all the evidence points @ Sandhya. The police are about to handcuff Sandhya when Anmol interrupts and stops them.

Anmol claims responsibility
Anmol comes down and tells Bhosle that Sandhya didn't do this murder. Bhosle asks him who did, and Anmol tells him that he did. 😲 Everybody is shocked to hear that, but Anmol tells Bhosle that he murdered Sarla chachi.

Bhosle asks why, and Anmol tells them that Sarla wanted to separate Sandhya & Neeraj. She'd put on a charade in front of everyone, but was plotting behind their backs. He tried a lot to convince her, but couldn't. Yesterday, he went to her room and tried to persuade her, but she refused to listen and instead started a fight w/ him. This made him furious and so he killed her 😆 (Anmol dear, what about the fingerprints - do you happen to have Sandhya's hands as well? 😆)

Sandhya protests that there's no way Anmol could have done that, and Sarita joins her and protests Anmol's innocence. Bhosle tells her to say anything more she wants @ the police station, and Sarita begs Dadaji to tell Bhosle that Anmol didn't do this murder.

The police go upstairs w/ Anmol, and Sarita launches into Sandhya, accusing her of being the killer and letting her son go to jail. She starts crying, and Baa comforts her.

Dadaji tells Anjali of Anmol's arrest
Anjali is in her room, and Dadaji comes there and asks Anjali how she was there when there was so much going on and everyone was downstairs? Anjali says that she knows, and b'cos she was unwell, she didn't leave the room, but the police did come and take down her statements.

Dadaji then tells her about Anmol's arrest, and Anjali is shocked (Anjali, I thought you hated him - as long as you're not suspected, why are you bothered? Or is this just an act?) Anjali thinks to herself that Anmol did see her leave Sarla's room, and guessed that it was she, and so to save her, he took this on himself. Anjali regrets that Anmol had suffered a lot due to her, and she can't let this happen to him 😲 Anjali tells Dadaji that Anmol is innocent, and asks where he is. Dadaji tells her that the police are escorting him to jail. Anjali decides that she won't let that happen, and leaves.

Anjali spills her guts out
Neeraj tells Sandhya that Anmol is incapable of killing anybody, and Sandhya agrees and says that she knows that Anmol is just trying to cover up for her. Bhosle asks the cops to escort Anmol to the police station, and he'll take everyone's signatures.

Anjali appears and stops them all, and tells Bhosle that Anmol is innocent. Bhosle tells her that he confessed, but Anjali tells him that he can't take it on himself, since he didn't do it. She tells Bhosle that he didn't do the killing, but he does know who the killer is. Anmol contradicts her, but Anjali tells him that he knows who's lying, and who the killer is.

Anjali then tells Bhosle that she was the one who murdered Sarla, not Anmol. Anmol tells him that Anjali is just saying this b'cos she's his spouse. Anjali crying asks him what she did that he regards himself as her hubby, or her as his wife, when she used to abuse him every waking moment? Baa asks her what's the deal, and Anjali confesses that despite marrying Anmol, she always abused him and never gave him the respect of a hubby. She confesses that despite sharing the same bedroom, she'd sleep on the bed and Anmol on the floor.

Sarita asks Anjali that if that was what she was doing, why did she marry Anmol? Anjali confesses that she did that to infiltrate this house and try and capture Neeraj. That why she didn't regard Anmol as her hubby, but Anmol tolerated all her hatred and abuse. She said that since she couldn't give him anything, how can she take his life, after all he did for her?

Anjali describes Sarla's motives & killing
Bhosle asks her why she murdered Sarla? Anjali tells him that Sarla had experience dealing w/ Sandhya, and when she found that out, she planned to bring Sarla in and get Sandhya expelled from Neeraj's life for ever. She wanted to land Neeraj, and Sarla wanted her revenge on Sandhya. It was Sarla who instigated the fights b/w them.

However, one night, Anjali overheard Sarla talking on the phone and planning to murder Sandhya. When she learnt that the reason Sarla wanted to separate Sandhya from Neeraj was that she wanted to kill her, she was completely shocked. She never imagined that she'd get her desires by killing anybody, nor could she see anybody kill anyone else. But from the time she came, Sarla wanted to kill Sandhya. In fact, she even wanted to kill Anmol, so that Anjali would have no problems marrying Neeraj. Anjali tried to reason w/ her, but Sarla would hear none of it, and instead, threatened her. Anjali then threatened to expose her to the entire family, on which Sarla attacked her. In self defense, Anjali hit her, and her head hit a sharp end on the wall, and that's how she died.

Anjali then freaked out and went to her room, saying that she had killed someone. Anmol heard her and pacified her, and told her not to say anything to anyone. But when she heard from Dadaji how Anmol was being the fall guy, she was shocked @ how he could do that, when she was the one who killed her?

Anjali then goes up to Bhosle and offers her hands for cuffing, swearing that every word she said was true. Bhosle tells him that he knows it b'cos it was her fingerprints that they found, not Sandhya's. He knew that she was lying b'cos in her statement, she claimed that she hadn't gone to that room. But he couldn't have arrested her on the basis of just that, so he put on that drama of first arresting Sandhya & then Anmol, so that seeing all that, she'd confess, just like she did. He tells her that she's under arrest.

Anjali requests him to allow her to talk to everyone b4 she left. Bhosle gives her the permission.

Anjali apologizes to family
Anjali tells Anmol that while the law will punish her, her biggest crime - to him - will go unpunished, and she'd have to be reborn to serve him. She asks him to give her the opportunity to serve her in this life if she gets a chance.

She then apologizes to Dadaji, but he tells her that the greatest punishment is atonement, and since she's sorry, God will forgive her. Anjali then apologizes to Baa & Sarita, and then Sandhya. Sandhya tells her that there is no need to apologize, since she's the bahu and what happened was an accident, which they'll prove in court. Anjali tells her that she's still guilty b4 Sandhya, Neeraj & Anmol. Sandhya tells her that she's apologized, and they'll all strive to get her out ASAP. Anjali leaves.

Neeraj apologizes to Sandhya
Neeraj apologizes to Sandhya, conceding that she was right, and that he never imagined that Sarla would hate her so much. Due to her, there were so many fights b/w them. Sandhya tells him not to worry, since she knew that one day, Sarla's truth would be out and then everything would be okay. Neeraj tells her that everything is not okay, and looks @ a sad Anmol.

Sandhya goes to Anmol and tells him not to be disappointed, since life is about struggle - using herself as an example. She struggled in childhood against her blindness, then against her first sasural and an evil husband. He too has to struggle. It's true that Anjali is punishing herself, but that doesn't mean that life is over. He has to help Anjali prove that what happened was an accident, and nobody murdered anyone.

Neeraj agrees and promises him that they'll all help him get Anjali back, since their happiness lies in their family. The Rakt Sambandh song plays in the background, and on that somewhat happy note, the serial ends.

I'm familiar w/ unlikely and illogical reformations of people, but I'll say Anjali's reformation at least makes some sense. After all, no matter how evil one is, chances are that it has a limit, and for Anjali, that limit was murder. So in the end, thanks to her, Sandhya was saved, and Sarla too may not have needed to die, except by accident. So in the end, Anjali was an unlikely hero, since absent her accidentally overhearing Sarla's plans, Sandhya may well have been done for.

I'm however not sure of what I think of Anjali's attitude towards Anmol being arrested - she never gave him any recognition despite him doing everything for her, but now, just b'cos he's going to jail, she had to spill her guts out? That part looked unreal.

One thing I missed about today - I wish Raj & Purvi had been there. Something this major, and Anjali's own sister ain't there to either question nor comfort her? Similarly, Anmol could have used Raj's support.

So finally, Shradhya did something that we've been rooting for since the first episode. Thing that bums me out - she's leaving the house pregnant. If this was the ending that the CVs had planned, why knock her up in the first place? I'd have preferred it had there been something in today's episode where she found out that it was a false alarm, but left Rohit anyway. I liked her finally telling Abha that she was severing relations w/ this house b4 leaving. Somewhat surprisingly, she didn't leave w/ Anusuya, and Anusuya didn't leave w/ her.

The final shot was a bit flat - here, I wish they had shown a mini leap of Anjali being exonerated by the court, and also Shradhya being not pregnant and returning to her maayka and being welcomed by her sisters, including Neerdhya. In fact, a Savratkar re-union would have been a better occasion.

I guess maybe Anjali didn't realise that Anmol would do this much for her. Not only that but the fact that she might have actually wanted it to be Sandhya framed so she could get Neeraj for herself - but that didn't go to plan. I dunno! Things I'm happy with include Shradya finally leaving, Neeraj and Sandhya making up, Anjali confessing and getting arrested.. The things I didn't like were that Shradya didn't take her mother in law with her (her being a single mother doesn't bother me TOO much, I just think it was an unnecessary and time wasting plot).. I also didn't like that there was no sign of Purvi or GB, would have been nice.. And what about Gayatri Devi who Sandhya has termed as her 'mother'.. It would have been nice to see what she is up to now or show what Sandhya's sisters are up to..

I guess it's hard to fit everything into such a short episode, so it could have been better but it could have been worse too I guess! A glimpse into the future would have been nice 😳

so jas was correct. anjali got a transformation....i guess i knew this would happen. but it's a bit convincing as you said her limit was murder & she didn't want to cross that limit to get neeraj😳

so it's a happy ending for neerdhya...🤗

r u serious?? what a crappy ending. i waited so long for neeraj and sandhya to get together and were given a week den a rift then an apology and then it ends. what a waste of time.

Well, they did leave some loose ends. Like Neerdhya had been on their vrath fraudulently done by GB - and even now, that hasn't ended. So I have no idea of what sort of an end it was for Neerdhya. I think the show could have used 1 more week.

After Sandhya forgave Anjali, I'd have liked to see Sarita apologize to Sandhya for hating her for no reason, but unfortunately that didn't happen. All we had was that group hug @ the end. And how was it really Rakt Sambandh? Both the Savratkars & Jagirdars had great chemistry & loyalty b/w them, but in case of the Gadorias, Raj is jealous of Anmol, Anjali doesn't listen to Purvi, GB hates the family and Sarita resents Dadaji. Too many holes - makes it look like Swiss cheese. Also, I'd have liked Purvi, Raj and Hasmukh to be there.

Given that today was the end, I'm glad that they showed that Gudi-Pardva episode w/ Jayita and Sakshi.

What started as a unique story has ended very poorly.
I was disappointed to see that we didn't get any closure on the Shradhya story.
Even Neeraj and Shandhya didn't make the ending seem interesting. There didn't seem to be much emotion. Plus over the last couple of days they ruined Neeraj's character. 😕
What did you guys think?

For me the biggest disappointment was Shradhya leaving the house without her M-I-L. Acc to the serial, I think, it was just yesterday when Anusuya was begging Shradhya to leave the house and Shradhya was giving all lectures about not wanting to leave without her Aai. Now, next day, its just the opposite, Anusuya asking her to stay back and Shradhya wanting to leave the house and not even asking her once to come along.

Also as Vrish pointed , another loophole was GB not being exposed. I can understand and assume that Sarita would change her attitude towards Sandhya and also Urmi will change because she always wanted the best for her sister, so I can assume that she will soften towards Sandhya but GB? I dont think any of this will have any effect on her and she may continue playing double games with the family later on. But who knows that may give birth to RS 2.
