The present method for deciding indian idol has many flaws and will give way for regionalism etc

Here i am proposing a method that might resist to this regionalism..

considering the show is "Indian Idol" not "Andhra or Rajastan Idol" .. we had to normalize the votes coming from different states.

I am proposing a variable and a constant. variable is the player quotient and constant is state quotent.

player quotient = (no of votes to a particular player)/(total no of votes from a particular state)

state quotient = (population of a particular state)/(population of country)

the result will be caluclated by multiplying the "state quotient" with "player quotient" for all the states and add them.

The player who got the highest score is the winner.

Dont scold me if this wont work ..

i think just one of the variables is enough. either player quotient or state. If we like judges pts can be added. UNFORTUNATELY, we are dreaming of ideal world, where ppl don need money. If judges r gvn power, show will not be commercial. And also remember judges r nt god. there will still be controversies cause we have different opinions.
Solution: keep ur calm.

how about, no votes allowed formthe contestants state...although not entirely i'm sure it will help reduce regionalism to some extent.....i wont b surprised if ppl temporarily move to neighbouring states, just to vote 😆 now that would b pathetic
