Davis looked around for Maan while one of his men in black suit came forward & told him, Maan left, as something came up. Geet sighed in relief. Davis enjoyed her relief.
Davis - some one wants to be alone with me gaving a lopsided smile
she tried to blush, her make up did help.
The waiter got another empty glass, the one he ordered for Maan.
Davis - u must taste this
it would be a wasteshe said as she sipped her coffee. I love this. Whiskey...yuck..
davis - this one will change ur mind trust me, he looked into her eyes.
She smiled softly & continued sipping her coffee
davis - just a sip, I want u to taste it for me.
He held her closer cajoling rather bid rudely. For the first time she saw the flare of temper in his eyes. He was the Davis Raheja & he was not used to anyone refusing him, especially not a female whom he had honored with his attention.
She tried to give a nice good look & very sugar coatedly said I don't like the taste of hard drinks
he poured the drink for her in the slender glass - u haven't tried the right one then.
Davis - agar tumhe yeh aacha nahi laga tho I will never ask u to taste any other hard drink, u can have my word on that.
Geet was so sure about his words.. he won't be alive to ask her for another drink..actually ask anything. She shook her head, his anger flared & he set the glass on the table with a thud.
Davis - meri har baat ka jawab tum na main deti ho. Us raat bhi mera saat nahi chali thi tum. He turned his face away. I wonder why r u even here. He rises throwing the napkin, lets call it a day then.

Davis was a charmer. Any girl could fall for his deadly, sexy looks. His charismatic mannerisms, his magnetic way to please his lady. They were always themselves, nothing external forced them to be different or show off. It was purely Maan.. as Maan & Geet as Geet... together in their own little paradise they created.

2 hours latter, they finished a lavish spread in the lunch & the entire bottle in Davis's stomach they rose to leave. He put his hand around her waist & walked her to his car. The driver opened the door for her. He had all the intention to take her to his place & spend the entire week end exploring every seen & unseen parts of her raw skin. As the car moved she felt nauseated, she thought it could be just because of the tension that coiled in her not at all because of the poison. The poison would take more than 2hrs to show its effect.
Geet - I think something I ate didn't suit me

Davis ordered the driver to stop it at once
driver slammed the brakes making them jerk a bit.
she opened the door & puked in the side. He immediately passed on water bottle to her while he stood behind her patting her back . She washed herself & wiped her mouth with the hanky he silently passed.

She dragged her self to her flat & collapsed into the couch. She was supposed to get back to office & wait for the good news, but she just couldn't. She felt so calm that the threat is not any more lingering around Maan. She just waited for watever would happen to happen.
