TIME: RECESS
LOCATION: HARVARD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, LONDON
A girl came running towards grade III A and shouted, "Maan…..hurry!!! geet….i mean sweetu needs help!!!"
A tall, slim figured boy came out of the class and replied worriedly, "Why….what happened now???"
Taylor: SHE IS STUCK!!!!!
Maan (in a low voice): oh no…..not again!!!!
Both ran towards the school swimming pool. As they reached, they saw a crowd near the pool. Maan made a run for it. A very similar yet so peculiar sight welcomed him.his sweetu sat near the pool in her school swimming suit crying her eyes out!!!all the students of her class, class II A, stood there surrounding her!
Amy (a classmate, with a note of sympathy): poor girl….this is the third time she is stuck due to her chubbiness!!!
Geet sat there crying….even the teacher couldn't console her or help her out…..just because she wouldn't allow anyone except her "mishtel Khulana" to even come to her rescue!
Geet : call (sob) MK……..MK (sob)…call him (sob)!
As Maan made his way through the crowd, all the girls couldn't help but drool over him!!! But he never even gave them a damn!!!
He reached near her and checked her thoroughly. His pink football was stuck in a kiddo swimming tube which the kids were using for practice in their gym class!!! He rubbed his temple and shouted, "I told you not to go for swimming! Why don't you ever listen to me???"
Geet: MK (sob)…MK…help!!!
And she started wailing….which Maan hated of course…since day 1.
Maan( with an angry look): CHUP…BILKUL CHUP! A little more sound…and I won't help you!
At once she ceased her crying! She stood up and walked near him. She was all red. She put her hands in his pocked, took out his stark white, neatly folded, properly ironed hankie and wiped her teary face! She even blew her nose into it. Poor Maan…..he couldn't say anything…….this was his sweetu's daily routine!
After wiping herself dry, she folded the hankie as neatly as it was and tucked it carefully in his pocket!
Maan: sigh…..now shtand straight!
Geet: umm…..
She stood straight and put her hands up in the air! Maan took a deep breath, held the tube tightly around her waist and pulled. Geet pulled herself back for the tube to come out!!
Maaneet (together): aaaaaa …………eeeeeee……….. oooooohhhh!!!!
Nothing happened. Everyone stood and watched the scene in awe! The duo tried again but failed miserably! huff…puff…….huff…….puff………both were panting. Maan looked at other students. They were watching the whole drama with their jaws dropped and eyeballs popped out! This made him soooooo angry!
Maan (shouting): shtop looking like that and help us out!
Not that was a very common sight for the kids……so nobody dared laugh!!! Everybody in the elementary school knew about Sweetu and Mr. Khurana's friendship!! No body dared because if anyone laughed at his sweetu, even by mistake, his face and his identity would be a history and a mystery!!!
They quietly followed his orders. Geet bend her upper body so that it was parallel to the ground with her hands stretched over her ears! 3-5 students held her from her waist and some held Maan!!
Maan: ready??? 3-2-1….PULL……..
And the tug-of-war began! Maan pulled the tube towards himself and geet pulled herself back….of course with the help of other students!!!
And finally….finally the tube made an effort to come out of sweetu's chubby waist!!! Everybody were tired!!!
Kawaii wonders…phew….what a relief!!! *sweating profusely*
Maan: huff….puff…..sweetu, go and get changed. Lets have our lunch!
Geet: huff…puff……coming MK!
Now MK…..gor ordinary girls, it was Maan Khurana…but for sweetu….it was still her MISHTEL KHULANA!

Maan and geet walked towards his car!!! Its been 4 years since they became friends…no no….best friends! Everyday after school, either Maan would be at geet's place or geet would be at his! They'd have their lunch together, do their homework together, play together….and not to be surprised….sleep together!!!
Countless number of times had Maan and geet slept together, on the same bed, listening to stories, fairy-tales, songs and so many things from their parents!!! And it was the sincerity, purity and innocence of this friendship that had brought both the two families even closer!!!
In the car,
Maan sat quietly!!! Geet sat beside him…taking a glimpse of his angry face every now and then!!!
Geet: aap mujhse naraaj (naraaz) ho????
Maan didn't say anything…..geet hated his such silent treatments!!!!
Geet (cutely…pouting out her lips): shorry (=sorry)!!!
Maan didn't even look at her. Geet leaned closer and placed a sweet kissy on he cheeks, " shorry!"
Maan looked at her, " I told you don't go swimming classes…even if the teacher tells you, say that you are sick or something!! I don't want you to get stuck like that gain and again!!!! You are so a football!!" and he swelled up his cheeks!!!
Geet: bu…but…what if sweetu drowns?? Teacher says….
Before she could complete her sentence, Maan placed his finger on her lips!!
Maan (concerned): shhh….shweetu will not drown!!! I'll never let her drown!! Mein usshe (=use) hmesha bachaoonga!!!!
Kawaii's eyes filled with tears….so much love….so much dedication to each other……will this pure trust ever be stained???
Geet( happy): really???
Maan: yes…of course!
He placed a sweet peck on her cheeks as both giggled and headed towards Khurana Mansion!!!
