I just started watching this show

Love the lady's accent - Deya I think her name is..she cracks me up

However, I was confused when I saw them marrying off their son....what was that all about?

He was a little kid?

Whats the premise of the show?

tht track was shown a long long time ago...........d little son was made to get married by her grandpaa, coz he wanted to see him married to a nice girl b4 he (d grandpaa) died........n daya was only supporting him.

That grandpa was believing on Child Marriage like baal bibah..Thats why Champaklal (grandpa) was eager to get Tappu married and Daya was supporting her father-in-law.

But that didn't happen. They all realised the bad effect of child marriage and it broke. Btw, Tappu was marrying that girl for a Bi-cycle only. He was not even serious on it.

The show is about Jetha lal and his wife Daya Gada and family that includes the grandfather and Tappu their only child.
The show is set in a co-operative society and follows the life of the protagonist and his family, albeit humorously.

About the track you have mentioned. This happens when Bapuji that is Tappu's grand dad suddenly decides his grandson might make a wrong choice or worse be misled completely if he grows up and decides to marry on his own. These fears prompt him to arrange a child marriage for his Tappu. The decision makes Jetha super jittery as he would be the one to take the rap if the child marriage actually happens.

It is great fun to watch Jetha Lal, his expressions leave you in splits. He is the reason I began watching the show. Great stress buster!
