Previous episode
Rohit continues his double game in the house w/ Shradhya. At night, he helps apply balm on injured parts of her body, telling her that she shouldn't have collected the mangal-sutra in the first place. However, @ day, he knocks off the tea that Shradhya has made for herself, and bans her from having anything until she gets back the mangal-sutra, and accuses her of giving it to her sisters. 😡

Everybody in the Garodia family was concerned about the rift b/w Neeraj & Sandhya, which apparently seems to have been escalating. Dadaji & Baa, Sarita & Purvi, Reena & Anmol are all discussing this issue.

Sandhya is alone in the living room when Sarla comes & taunts her. Sandhya does her best to avoid her, but Sarla sticks to her like a leech. Sarla lets Sandhya know that she knew all about Anjali. Finally, Sarla culminates things in telling Sandhya that the one thing good the Jagirdars did was kill her father, who was incapable of family planning. This made Sandhya snap, and she turned on Sarla and started trying to strangle her (see my new avi)

Sarla started screaming for help, and that brought down Neeraj, Anjali, Dadaji and Purvi to the scene. Neeraj pulled Sandhya away and slapped her hard, and then took Sarla aside, telling her that Sarla wouldn't leave, and if Sandhya wanted, she was free to leave. He then asked Anjali to take Sarla upstairs, and everybody left disgusted. Neeraj then went to Sandhya and told her that while it was one thing for her not to forgive Sarla, after what she did today, he'd never forgive her.

Now to today's episode

Rohit's nice again w/ Shradhya
Shradhya is in the kitchen doing the dishes, when Rohit comes in and offers to give her a hand, again praising her hands. 😕 Shradhya tells him that it's a bad idea, in case anyone sees them. Rohit tells her that his father is asleep and won't wake up until 6 o clock, while his mom is asleep as well. He then wipes her hands and takes her w/ him.

Shradhya again refuses to enter the room, and Rohit again apologizes for treating her like dirt by day, and like a princess by night. But she too isn't giving him any info about the mangal-sutra, so in front of his dad, he has to put on that act. He tells her that he loves her a lot, but has to pretend to hate her in front of his dad. (Rohit, when you beat her, she doesn't pretend to be hurt - she actually is, as you well know!!!) He thinks it's the way women are treated in his house.

Shradhya gives him a dirty look, and he reassures her that this doesn't mean that it would necessarily continue, and that they may be the ones to change it. They then go to the room (Shradhya, it's high time you told him enough is enough!)

Neeraj threatens to expel Sandhya
Next morning, Sandhya is still crying in her room, when Neeraj comes and berates her for being after Sarla chachi. Sandhya tells him that he doesn't know her true colors. Neeraj interrupts and tells her that he's not done, but that if she has any problems w/ Sarla chachi, she's @ liberty to leave. But he's not going to leave Sarla in the streets, and if she repeats yesterday's scene, he himself will throw her out. He warns her against this being discussed again (Neeraj, then don't keep pressing Sandhya to forgive her - allow her not to talk to her)

He then walks out of the room. Sarla's waiting right outside and has overheard this conversation. She looks @ Sandhya inside and thinks to herself that when Neeraj returns, he'll find her body. 🤢

Abha, Rohit find out about mangal-sutra
Abha is seated in his room, when a man walks in. It is the same guy who had mugged Shradhya > a year ago, and he comes in and tells Abha that he wants to meet Shradhya-tai. Rohit comes in and tells him that Shradhya has no brothers, just 4 sisters 😆

Rohit then starts calling for Shradhya, but Abha tells him that in their family, none of their women meet strangers. Shradhya comes in and tries to signal to him not to say anything, but the guy tells Abha in response to his question that he's the one who had stolen Shradhya's mangal-sutra. He tells Abha & Rohit that he had been arrested, but Shradhya freed him and gave him the mangal-sutra so that his sister's marriage could go thru. Shradhya is terrified @ his confession. The thief tells them that thanks to Shradhya teaching him the right path, he became a rickshaw driver and w/ that money, is now able to return her her mangal sutra. He offers it to Shradhya.

Abha & Rohit stop him, and Abha takes the mangal sutra from him, and tells him that he's free to go. The thief wants to return it to Shradhya, but Shradhya signals him that it's okay, so he agrees and leaves.

Abha tells Rohit that he's keeping this, and that Shradhya fears neither of them, and that too lies to them. Saying this, he storms out. Rohit starts beating Shradhya w/ a stick, furious @ her for everything she had done. Anusuya comes in and intervenes, telling him that she's his wife, not a beast. Rohit tells her that w/ a wife like her, they'll be looted in no time. It's good that due to the grace of swamiji, he returned it, or else, this Mother Teresa would cost them everything. He tries beating her again, but Anusuya stops him and takes Shradhya away.

Anusuya is applying the balm on Shradhya, and tells her to do what she never could - leave this place 👏 She tells her to stop hiding her misery behind that smile, and leave. Shradhya tells her that she doesn't want to lose her (why don't both of you leave?) Anusuya asks her that if she considers her her mother, why doesn't she obey her? Shradhya tells her that she too has become used to this.

Shradhya tells her that she too would have to come w/ her, or else, she's not going to leave w/o her. 👏 Anusuya is upset that she has to overhaul herself. Shradhya tells her that she lost her mother as a kid, and that she's looked @ Anusuya as a mother, and couldn't bear to lose her. Shradhya tells her that as long as they are there, they'll have to bear it.

Dadaji asks Sandhya what's going on?
That night, Anjali comes out of Sarla's room and Sandhya passes her, and goes calling for Sarla. She doesn't find her in the dark and leaves. She runs into Dadaji, who asks her what is she doing there?

Sarita arrives there and scornfully suggests that she's probably there to tell Sarla what she couldn't w/ Neeraj. She reminds him that like Sarla, Sandhya too was once a stranger in their house, and they indulged her, and today, it's she who cannot tolerate a guest. Sandhya is stunned, while Sarita tells her that she'll go and see how Sarla is.

Dadaji takes her aside and asks her why she resents Sarla so much - he's never seen her so angry? He doesn't know whether it's justified or not, but asks her whether one behaves w/ guests like this? He offers her to spell out any fears she has regarding her.

Sandhya apologizes to him, and is about to tell him something about what Sarla said about her father, but stops herself, and tells him that she won't give him cause for concern. She tells her that whatever disagreement she had w/ Sarla, she's ended for good. (I'm not sure I like the sound of that)

Sarla in a pool of blood
Sarita goes looking for Sarla, and finally sees something that causes her to raise an alarm. Dadaji & Sandhya hear that, and everyone else arrives, and they all go up.

They enter the room, and all of them are shocked @ what they see. In the meantime, Neeraj comes running up, and comes into the room. They see Sarla lying in a pool of blood. 😲

In the previous episode, finally Reena & Baa were back - it was getting boring just seeing Anjali and Purvi. One thing - Sandhya almost used to walk on water when it came to hunting down Sarla's antics in Gwalior - how come here, she's unable to do anything and has almost fallen into the trap? In the meantime, speaking of Neeraj, the reason he's in that house is Sandhya - she talked him into it. Had he just gone by his instincts, he'd never have landed there, and then what - could he have dared to force Sandhya to shelter Sarla in Savratkar house? Yet, now he threatens to remove Sandhya if she repeats her attack on Sarla? 😡

The final scene - I think Anjali had helped Sarla rig it, since she was the last to leave that room b4 Sandhya entered the dark room and left it after hearing no response. I doubt that Sarla is dead, though. Or if she is, maybe Anjali murdered her, and is trying to frame Sandhya. Something tells me it has to be real - I doubt that they'd try this trick w/ paint. But Sandhya's last comment to Dadaji makes her sound like she might be guilty, even though she's not. Speaking of which, I wish she had told Dadaji what she had been trying to tell Neeraj - her past w/ Sarla, and how Sarla is out to get her here. Dadaji doesn't have any debts to Sarla that Neeraj has, so Sandhya should use this.

Since this is the last week of the show, Sarla may indeed be dead, in which case, Sandhya will have quite a job in proving Anjali guilty.

I'm glad that finally, Anusuya is urging Shradhya to leave, and Shradhya is telling her that she won't leave w/o her. Fine, but both of you leave. End this double game. Shradhya could marry that thief - even he'd be a better hubby than Rohit.

I think Anjali murdered Sarla to fram Sandhya simply because Anjali has started to behave like a psycho! Btw thank you for the recap and update!

^^^If that's the case, at least that problem is gone from Sandhya - she just has to prove her innocence, which she can w/ DNA. Call back Inspector Bhosle.

I have a theory - let's see if it plays out if that's indeed the case. It is that Anjali wanted to find out how to get Neeraj for herself, which Sarla doesn't care - she just wants Sandhya dead or gone. So once Anjali figured out that Sarla was just using her, she murdered her, and did so in a way that would frame it on Sandhya.

Since Anjali is a ditz - and not just when compared to Sarla - she's bound to goof up, and as a result, get found out. As a result, 2 of Sandhya's enemies gone.

Incidentally, where is GB - the nosiest member of the family, when all this is going on? Or is she a potential suspect as well for goodness knows why? Incidentally, yesterday, when everybody in the family was speculating about Neeraj-Sandhya's fight, Sarita thought the fault lay w/ Sarla, while Purvi thought that Sarla had the best interests of the family in mind given how she was out to reform Anjali.

I do hope the intentions of both Sarla & Anjali are fully exposed.

I've not been watching the last 3 episodes or so because I don't think I'll like it :( I'm just waiting to find out how it ends and then I may watch the last episode, but with only three episodes left I don't see how Sandhya will be able to 1. prove her innocence 2. prove anjali and/or sarla guilty and 3. reveal sarla's true colours to neeraj (although this can ofc be done through point 2!). Anmol also needs to speak up and show that Anjali never really wanted to be with him anyway. If they kill Sandhya off they'll undermine the essence of the drama.. I'd rather she just left Neeraj (yes, this is a weird thing to say, I love them together), but I'd rather she just left him than died or went to jail. Obviously I'd rather they stayed together but I just mean in the circumstances where they may not be.

I seriously hope that Anjali did kill Sarla, that way Sandhya can prove her innocence and Anjali can go to prison, thus exposing Anjali's true nature to the ENTIRE family. Shradhya seems to be on the right track, for once she considers leaving Rohit. Looks like she will head back to her sisters. Not what I wanted to see, but still satisfying for her conclusion. With a few days left, it's hard to predict how they can wrap it all up.

Also I don't understand if Sarla is just 'pretending' to be dead... surely they'd want a burial etc and if she's alive she'll not want to be buried alive... and doctors involvement etc will prove her to be alive

I too believe Sarla is dead for real. This way CVs can eliminate one of her enemies right now and can drag Anjali's exposure till the last episode.

If Sarla is really dead and Anjali is the one, then they are making it really credible, as they're not going to suddenly reform her and make her all lovey-dovey towards Anmol, but can send her to jail. Another possibility is that Anjali has done this to wreck her vengence on the family, which she hates. Sending Anjali to jail allows for a realistic closure to her episode, along w/ the serial.

If she is not, she gets exposed the moment she is found to be alive and pretending. Also, p0lkad0t, she'd have to be cremated, not buried. But yeah, doubt she'll want it done to herself if she's still alive. So if she is dead, Pankaj can regret being Vehni's lap-dog and forcing Sarla to go thru it as well. But I always felt Prabha was more of a villain.

If Sarla can die all of a sudden, I hope the same happens to not just Abha, but Rohit as well. That way, that hell of a life that Shradhya & Anusuya are going thru will end finally. Yeah, as far as I'm concerned, it's okay if they end the serial w/ them single.

I too hope both Abhaa and Rohit die. They deserve that. Specially Rohit for his recent two faced life. I dont know if this is possible but I hope Shradhya and Anmol end up together. They both are good people and I dont want Anjali to be shown reformed. She should either die as well or should be sent t jail.

Only thing - Anmol is younger to Neeraj, and Shradhya is older to Sandhya. So if Anmol were to marry Shradhya, she'd suddenly go from being Sandhya's tai to Sandhya's devrani, which would be wierd. Imagine Anmol eloping w/ Shradhya & coming back home w/ her, and then Sandhya crying and telling Baa - look, he's turned my didi into my devrani 😭😈 Too funny for words 🤣

Plus none of the other Savratkar sisters have a clue of what's going on in Shradhya's life, although Sakshi & Savita have their suspicions. If the show is ending on the 1st and not the 8th, then I think it's too little time to clean up this track. But if it's ending on the 8th, then it's okay - maybe Shradhya & Anusuya can come out of that situation. I do wish for new spouses for Shradhya & Anmol, but don't see it happening in the remaining time. Unless Shradhya marries her mangal-sutra thief. 😈😆 Too bad both of Sarla's daughters are married - they could have had that ceremony w/ just one of the daughters, and married the other to Anmol.

I don't want Anjali to die - if that happens, she'll be a martyr to the Viranis. I want her to go to jail, so that Purvi is embarrassed.
