LTL ends for me today officially, so I have a few highs and lows of the show that I wanted to share
Highs
The dialogues have been really good, the dialog delivery even better, by both Mishal and Mahi
The story of Dutta and his journey has been very unique. Nakku's story as well, the story of an 'ugly' girl who won the heart of powerful rich handsome guy, (and she turned out to be beautiful afterall)
The simplicity of the characters, Nakku did not change into a makeup obsessed, jewelery filled, sari- seasoned diva after her FR
Duji friendship was really great especially in the beginning, did you guys notice Duji had not been on speaking terms for 5 months!! (that part should have been a low btw)
The TaSha first wedding, Anna, Jagtap periods, Jungle scenes and the realisation of love scenes were the best....
Lows
Nakku and Dutta hardly had any romantic scenes....last year on the 'jaane kya baat hai' dream sequence, I had so much hopes, but a year later, CV's left us hanging. I would have loved to see a nice romantic song like in the movies. All the TaSha scenes have been very lovely....cute, but not romantic. We had so many expectations, all squashed!!
The Damodhar period dragged, the blind sequence dragged
Seema, Sudarshan, Chaskar were given too much air time. Chaskar was funny though
For a while LTL was only airing 4 times a week
The worst is how Mishal exited as Dutta today..,..total destruction of a 'sher'
All in all LTL was entertaining, I was thinking that if they had focused more on quality and not on quantity, perhaps we could have had more twists and turns during the 'drag' period.
To close I believe Mishal is meant to soar as an actor, would like to see him as the Indian James Bond one day!!!! Lets hope for the best, long term wise, he had to leave to pursue his dreams 😆 only if it was made less painful by the CVs grrrr
