For the last three years, I've been invited to attend FICCI Frames, but I couldn't because of my schedules. I finally made it," says an excited Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who was felicitated with an award for a decade in acting excellence at the global convention on Friday.

Aishwarya was asked by FICCI Entertainment Committee co-chairman, Karan Johar, to present a memento to Hugh Jackman. The Australian actor-producer met with chairman Yash Chopra, Karan and Aishwarya backstage before the presentation and admitted to having seen some of her films, including Devdas.

Aishwarya too is well versed with the Australian hunk's work, including the X-Men series. "The recent Wolverine was hugely popular here. Hugh as an actor has made a mark that the world recognises, full power to him," said Aishwarya.

Before leaving, the actress went backstage to bid Hugh goodbye. That's when he told her they needed to connect soon to make something of the work opportunities. Hugh's witty side was apparent during the discourse with Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar before the Excellence Awards.

SRK said, "We try and create whatever we can in Bollywood, by using our moneys, borrowing it or by selling our house and our clothes… which I have for RA.One."

The actor also went on to talk about how he didn't feel he was good enough to take on the world, to which Hugh vehemently disagreed, saying: "I've seen your movies, and I don't subscribe to your opinion on whether you could make it there as an actor, you absolutely can!"

The funniest moment of the evening was when Shah Rukh said, "Hugh told me he might take me on for the next X-Men film, and that I am doing for sure. There's no way I'm saying no to that!" To which, Hugh's gentle response was: "I'm actually asking you to finance it."
