TOI: Ronit Roy happy to play a lawyer

Ronit Roy who plays a lawyer, KD Pathak in the legal investigative series "Adalat" is happy playing his role in the serial.

After doing daily soaps for about 10 years, Ronit decided to take up this role of a lawyer as he has never done this genre before. "When I was approached for the role, I took it up as I found it very interesting. Each episode has a new concept and besides acting out my part, I actively participate in the execution process by offering suggestions and improvising on my dialogues," says he.

This week's upcoming show has an exciting plot, wherein KD, who's travelling on an airplane crashes on a deserted island. What follows is a series of murders on the island, wherein KD defends the innocent suspect, amidst all the danger surrounding all the survivors of the plane crash. It's up to KD to nab the murderer, amongst the group of survivors. As for the show's upcoming special two-hour episode, Ronit says, "There are different exciting challenges every week but this week's upcoming episode is by far the most exciting."
