Adaalat is turning into a biweekly, had you expected show to be so popular? It gives me great pleasure. I am happy that the show is doing well. Every actor hopes that his show does well and I was hoping the same for Adaalat. |
Which was the most challenging episode of the show and why? Every episode has been challenging as every episode is a new story with new characters in it. We had many new actors in the show and being their colleague, it is my duty to guide the new actors and that is quite challenging in itself. | |||

Which is the best compliment or fan reaction that you received for this role? The girls love KD. I have received innumerable compliments on Twitter but I can't pick and choose the best one. | |||

What according to you is the unique trait of KD? The unique part about KD is that even though he is a lawyer he is not very serious. He is not boring and takes things in his stride. I have seen some lawyers up north who are like KD, they are jovial and dress casually. | |||

How did you feel when Bandini ended? I felt very bad because I had been associated with the show for two years. But there was always a silver lining. Whenever a show with Balaji ends, there has always been a new show which Ekta has casts me in. However, this time there was no new show, so it felt worse. | |||

You have played popular roles like Rishabh, Mihir, Dharamraj and KD. Which one was most satisfying as an actor? It is really very difficult to choose any one of these. Each of them is very close to my heart. I would feel incomplete without each of these roles. | |||

You won several awards including Filmfare for Udaan. How do you look back at the movie? It felt great receiving all the awards especially since 2011 is my twenty-fifth year in the film industry. It feels really good when your work is recognized and appreciated. |
We heard you are doing Deepa Mehta's film Winds of Change along with Irrfan Khan, is it true? Yes I am doing the film but I not am allowed to talk about it yet. |
