Dev Was holding onto Radhika's shoulder as they entered into their room.

Dev: how are you feeling radhika?

Radhika: ji, fine

Saying that she went near to the suitcase to take her house coat out.

Dev: Radhikaaa

She stopped , and looked at him

Dev: you need any help?

Radhika: no , I am fine

Dev: I know , you are, but still

She tried to give a corner smile in acknowledgement and tried to open the suitcase that she brought along with her.

Radhika: vo mei

Dev: I know you have new collections, but for now wear this, you will really feel better.

Radhika just nodded her head.

Dev: Radhikaa, you want me to help you

Radhika suddenly felt awkward in his question, and she said quickly: no , no, I will be fine.

Radhika came out from the washroom. Dev smiled at her, and he saw his old Radhika in front of him. holding her hand he brought her near to the window: Radhika, remember, how you used to watch the moon and the stars standing here. Radhika tried to smile but she didn't show any interest.

Dev: you ok na.

Radhika just nodded. : ha, can I go to bed

Dev: um, I am also feeling tired, let's go to bed.

She got into bed. Dev turning the room light off, took his tee shirt off, and then coming near the bed , he turned the bed lamp on.

Radhika was trying hard to adjust in, with the loaded fluid she was feeling much better. She was not feeling sleepy either. Dev rested his head on the head board and put the pillow behind him for support.

Dev : Radhika, come

Radhika looked at him and found his both arms out, spreads to both side, welcoming her into his arms.

Radhika : I am fine

Dev: I know you are, but I am not...

Dev: Ha Radhika, I know you are fine, but I am really feeling sick.

Radhika felt little uneasiness, thinking of facing his questions. She recollected those questions that he asked in the morning. Why didn't I call him?, why didn't I tell him? what will I say? The fear started forming in. her mouth felt dry.

Dev : Radhikaaaa, I am waiting

Radhika crawled up and then slowly , got into the space that he opened for her. In a side laying position, she went near his chest, Dev with a smile, brought his arms to wrap it around her , and then he with a smile made her head to rest on his chest, near to his heart. Her cheek rested on his chest and the exhaled air, fell on his bare chest. She slowly rested her hand on his chest. She felt his warm skin again, she heard his heartbeat........

Dev in a soft tone; how are you feeling now?

Radhika: better . she replied in a normal tone.

Dev smiled thinking at least she said the truth, didn't repeat her 'I am fine' slog.

Dev: I know,....... do you know why you are feeling better?

Radhika didn't say anything

Dev: that is the magic of Dev. See now you are in my arms, and you are feeling better already,.now everything will be fine, ok.

He watched down to see her expression, but her head was hiding down his chin. Rubbing on her upper arm, he asked: tell me something Radhika

Radhika kept her silence

Dev: anything

Radhika with little difficulty: I don't have anything to say

Dev moving back, looking at her face: something na

Boy: the star that is up in the sky

Boy pointed his finger at the most shiny one

Mom smiled and said: you need to sleep to get that star

Boy: no, I love to watch her, she blinks her eyes.. i want to see her all the time...

Dev making that childish caught face: obviously, when he woke up all the stars got disappeared from the sky and he might have cried loud na. what else he will do flaring his hands out.., that is the only possibility na.

Radhika: you just made up this!!!!

Dev: what else I do, you don't have anything to say, but I am in a mood to talk and something should be said na.

Radhika just tried to rest back on the bed.

Radhika looked at him surprisingly, she felt guilty again, now he may ask me all those questions, her gaze fell down on to the bed spread and she sat back unable to give him any answer with his expected questions.

Dev in a disappointed tone : I know my story is not good, you may not like it, you maybe liking all those scholar's stories, the frog in the well and all. then with a frogy tone he continued..After all that frog can only leap inside that well only na. then proudly.. at least my boy can even pack his luggage and set out in search of the shiny stars parents. And we can make that journey beautiful with his little confusion and all He made that kiddish face again: heina.

Rahdika looked at him, seeing him changing the subject.

Dev: see , I know you don't like my story, but I didn't tell the story for you, ok.

Dev looked at her and then with a smile, he suddenly lay his head on her lap, and then wrapping his arms around her waist line to her back, he said: this is for my baby, my little princess. Then bringing his face more closer to her lower abdomen he said: heina baby, you love to hear your papa's stories , right?. It is so simple. You tell me if you want that little boy to smile or cry, if you want then I can surely bring that stars to shine in day time too. Do you want me too, tell me dear.

He kept on mumbling to her lower tummy in a kid's way : did you miss me, what to do beta, your papa was little busy, too bad na, left both of you alone, bad papa na. but not anymore, I am here with you, very close Ok, and ha....., don't give trouble to your mom , ok. You are actually scaring your papa, your mamma is always fine and fine. She doesn't have anything to speak to papa, and your papa is wide awake , are you in a mood to talk to papa?, tell me baby. He slipped under that cover and opened his arms for her, and with little nervously went into his arms and rested her face on his chest. Dev felt so good feeling her following his request, and remembered Sarada's talk she may follow you, but she may remin silent..

Dev wrapping his arms around her: Radhikaa

Radhika moved her cheek little bit over his chest as if listening to him

Dev looking at the ceiling then stroking on her hair down: Do you know how old is our baby?

She listened holding on to her breath

Dev: our princess is five month old now

But then tried to force her to the side, he moved to the side and laying sideways, facing her he asked: did you go for check up anytime?

Radhika nodded her head

Dev: when?

Radhika: at asram hospital, when I fainted one day...., and then only...... I came to know.

He felt her words breaking in between

Dev: that's ok, so you just went once

Radhika: they told me to eat well and to drink plenty of water

Radhika covered his lips, and shook her head sideways, requesting him not to blame himself for it. And finally she said: please

Radhika rested her head back on his chest and unknowingly her arms went around his shoulder and she held him tight as the words did not formed inside her throat.

Yes, Radhika is going to take time to come out of her shell --but with you penning words for Dev, I am sure Radhika will be back to Dev's Radhika---

Loved the story of the boy who wants to marry the pretty star --and Dev talking to his little one--

And the last part was full of feeling--that touch, that sentiment is what is needed most....what both Radhika and Dev needed most---the road to healing may take time but this is a start....
The need to love and be loved is such a vital element..
