There is a difference between saying it wasn't as good as other contestants' performance and saying they look like they are running around. π
I never said it was a perfect performance, I just said it's not easy to perform such an act smoothly when there is very minimal time to go from one place to another. That being said, in my opinion, I felt it was smooth because it was just so fast paced, that even if it seemed rushed (slightly did on Sonali's end as she wasn't as smooth as Cornell), it still flowed well.
In terms of Choreography, I thought it was nice for the type of performance it was, but of course, there is always room for improvement. π³
even if someone said that it was just running around, what's so wrong about it? maybe it did seem like that to them. and i don't think the audience has to be able to dance or do all that to judge a performance. majority of the audience doesn't know the ABCs of dance, but they still judge. and they should be able to as well.
maybe u judge a performance according to its difficulty level, which is perfectly fine. but many, including me, do not. we look at the outcome. and if it was good, then we praise. if not, then we criticize. i cannot just praise people cuz they attempted something hard and they worked their butt off. everyone works hard! so i don't judge on attempts. i judge on what is presented to me. and i did not like what cornali presented to me. but again, this is my opinion and u have full rights to think that they were awesome. and we clearly don't agree on the smoothness of the dance. so let's agree to disagree!π
again, i beg to differ. the choreography was a poor attempt at doing something "innovative." i will commend the attempt, but it wasn't as great. but let's agree to disagree!π
