Observations - Last episode

Many of us actually breathed a sigh of relief after the airing of the last episode of Sarkar. A little disheartening though, I must say, for a serial that started with such promise. And of course it left many strings loose for us to tie according to our wishes and thoughts. 😉

Of course, they had to bump Lakshya off or he had to leave the city and go somewhere else for carrying on with his (pathetic) life. But, its always safe to kill off somebody so that Urvi-Karan's future life holds no threat from anybody, anytime. So, Lakshya becomes a martyr and lays down his life or the love of his life. How fitting! 😕

A thing struck me as implausible - after all the ruckus that was created concerning Lakshya and Urvashi's marriage, poor Lakshya was still carrying her mother's 'kangans' for her son's wife. When Lakshya dies, he passes over these kangans to Karan so that he can see Urvi wearing them. What a life Urvi has! She has Kunal's children, Lakshya's mothers kangaans and is married to Karan. Wow! 😆 😉 😆

I was reading the update in another post - there it was mentioned that Lakshya's cremation scene was shown. But, it was not shown in Calcuta. Believe me, I had my eyes glued to the set and I didn't budge an inch from in front of the TV set. then what happened ?

Bhagwant always gave us the impression that he's a seasoned politician. But, at the end his entire character was reduced to a farce. 🤡 A politician, more of an anti-social nature, with very little inclination towards politics (if u of course leave aside the dirty politics that he was always resorting to and bumping off PM's family members). What a down grading exercise.

Shweta was not shown a bit. I thought they would at least have highlighted her mental state for a moment or so, given that all her pawns had boomeranged and she had been check-mated fair and square. Sometimes, i feel a little bad for her in the sense that she completely forgot to use her little grey cells and was chiefly responsible for all these. Of course, she's not a kid and should have known that she was being used by others as insider in PM's household. But, when did she use her brains anyway?

The idea where Karan takes over being the CM of Vishal Pradesh is good. If the serial had continued, then this would have been a fresh twist. 😛

A week ltr, everybody's sitting at the dining table eating, Panchhi is serving food and everybody is talking about getting Panchhi married to Shlok. 😛

Poor Lakshya. 😭 All his efforts have been in vain. As PM felt, he should have kept himself away from PM's family. But, nobody can do away with their fate.

"Jo nahin sunta usko jal jana hota hai
Har khushi se har gam se begaana hota hai ... "

poor Urvashi -- she wore the same sari for a full week - right from the Satyanarayan puja & Lakshya's subsequent death - and on to the final sit-down meal! -- surely the makers could have spared her one more sari -- after all she was Karan's (the CM's)new bride!

very well pointed out. i was alos thinking abt the same stuff - i.e. TC weraing the same saree. 😆

Seems like they shot the wntire stuff in a single day or wha. Or maybe they had returned all dresses and these guys ahd to shoot using their own stuff. 😆

perhaps they did shoot in one day -- but that still does not justify for the lack of wardrobe for only one character -- a main one at that!!
the men-folk seemed to be doing quite alright with their kurta + shawl / stole changes!
perhaps if left to TC to use her personal wardrobe -- she could come up with atleast one sari change??!!!

After reading the update of the last episode. I totally agree with u Sangitadas.

as usual
a drama that starts with a fresh story becomes another pathetic soap which after ending mostly leaves the viewers disappointed and not at all satisfied with the ending
i did not keep up wit this show and only watched or read the updates once in a while but still it was not hard to get the jist of the story
anyways too bad it ended this way

I guess, in my opinion, this ending is lot better than other soaps - Reth, PKG etc. I am glad they didn't bring back Kunal, (altthough its good to see him on scree)OR Yana bribing the police / guards and coming out of jail to take revenge on Krithika, Shlok bringing his old buddies and help Karan beating - up Bhagwat etc etc. BTW, what happened to Karan's AUNT? Did they find out that it was her who was behind Priyam's husband murder? ---too late...

You are correct to some extent but still the ending was a big letdown.
As far as Karan's aunt is considered, they did not show her at all at the end. So another loose end forgotten to be tied up. 😆

So disappointed to see such ending. I did not watch it for long time as it was getting boring and mixed up. So finally Karan married his bhabi whom he always referred as his mother like? Wow. Everything is possible in Indian movies. Shweta was not wrong after all.

No. In fact shweta stands vindicated.
