Suhana surely dint tell tat she wants a baby boy bcos she's narrow minded....oh come on aft one year of this serial, we've understood how broad minded suhana is...she's telling tat jus out of love for ishaan....i think in every serial the hero and heroine says this kind of dialogue...the guy says he wants a girl child and girl says she wants a boy child...if anyone shows narrow mindedness it's only the elders in the family in usual shows....

I haven't watched today's but as per yesterday's episode, there's nothing wrong with refering to the baby as a boy; it's human nature to refer to the third person as he. Let me give you a real life example. I was in the interview and I was asked the most famous question that every recruiter loves to ask: how do you handle stress or when you have too much on your table? While answering the question, I kept on referring the engineers on my team as "he", even though there are "she" engineers too on my team. It's human nature to refer to the third person as "he". Had Suhana said, in clear words, that she wants a boy, then yes you're right - why always a boy and not a girl?! But because she didn't say it, I dont think referring to the baby as a boy is entirely wrong.

Didn't both Ishaan and KK say they wish Sushana to have a daughter? 😉 KK said he feels Suhana is gifting him 'Vidisha' back and Ishaan said "mujhe ek Suhana chahiye" SO? Where did you see a Chauvinistic view? Plus keep watching the show...and btw...don't forget Inder and Rajni have a girl...if the show had 'chauvinistic view' they could have made them have a boy! KK has both the daughters! Mind you they also showed how the Kashyap family's oldest son has heft them and it's their daughter-in-law who still stayed back and kept the family together! This is has done the exact opposite of what you are saying! This show has shown the importance on a girl/woman in a family!

actually what she said was tht she wanted a baby like ishan so ergo she wanted a boy..u obviously missed the OTHER dialogue in the same scene where ishan wished for a baby like suhana so tht makes him want a girl..it was a normal conversation..not a fanatical need to have a male progeny..
