Rudra aka Iqbal Khan
My dream role will definitely be Jack Kiefer (played by Kiefer Suitherland) from 24. Anyone who has watched the show would know why. There is so much scope to perform and it can bring out the best in an actor.

Television hunk Iqbal Khan, who is presently seen in Zee TV's show 'Sanjog Se Bani Sangini', is not keeping well these days. The actor is hospitalized now and the series of tests conducted on him revealed that the actor is suffering from the dreaded dengue. Hence, the fans will naturally miss him on screen for few days.

The production house is worried about this news of the lead actor 'Rudra' falling sick because the current track requires Iqbal in most of the scenes. They are trying to make up few scenes by using body doubles in the long shots and the team is considering visiting hospital to take close-up shot of the actor.

Iqbal has taken this illness on his stride and said that God is kind to him. He added that the almighty probably wanted to give him a deserved break and enjoy some much-needed TLC from his wife. The actor said that he will take it easy for next five days and then he will try to go back to the sets as soon as possible.

The 30 year old actor returned to small screen with 'Sangini' after along gap. He was last seen in another show of Zee TV titled 'Waris'. The fans were very happy to see him on screen after this long gap.

We wish he gets well soon and starts entertaining all of us!

Pihu back in Rudra's life?

Sanjog Se Bani Sangini on Zee TV is all set for a new twist with Pihu (Aditi Gupta ) trying to get Rudra (Iqbal Khan)back in her life, say sources.

Rudra who has now begun to develop feelings for his wife Gauri (Binny Sharma) will be in a tricky situation, having to choose between his childhood sweetheart Pihu and his wife.

Sources say "Pihu will be back in Rudra's life pleading him for help with some problems that she is facing. After that she will try and convince him that he still loves her and not Gauri.Gauri will find Pihu's behaviour suspicious and get a whiff of her intentions". We spoke to Aditi Gupta who confirmed "Yes I will be back in Rudra and Gauri's life and request them to help me with some problem. I have moved on in life but not completely. Right now the track is a little complicated and even I do not know what will happen after I reenter their life".

In the coming weeks which are expected to have loads of drama the viewers will get to know about whether Pihu is successful in breaking Rudra and Gauri's marriage or whether Rudra will choose Gauri over her.

Abhay, the face behind Padma Chachi in Sangini..

The March 14th episode will reveal to the viewers the real face behind Padma Chachi's mask in Zee TV's Sanjog Se Bani Sangini..

Every aspect of the new entry Padma Chachi in Zee TV's Sanjog Se Bani Sangini has been mysterious!! The character who sports a huge red bindi with half of her face covered in her saree has been creating problems in the life of Rudr (Iqbal Khan) and Gauri (Binny Sharma) ever since she has entered.

While the prime suspects happen to be Pihu (Additi Gupta), Naani (Kunica Lal) and Ratnesh (Sandeep Baswana), the plot is going to thicken in the next few episodes before the revelation happens on 14th March.

TellyBuzz was the first to give our readers news about such an intriguing track opening up, and we now give you the first information on the identity of Padma Chachi.

Our source states, "It's not Pihu, Ratnesh or Naani who dons the mask of Padma Chachi. Instead, it is Abhay (Raunaq Ahuja) who is the mastermind behind all this. The dedicated husband in Abhay has forced him to take this big step. His motive is to separate Rudr and Gauri, so that he can open up a chance for Pihu to get united with the man she loves the most".

The real face behind the mask will be revealed to the viewers on March 14th, when Abhay will remove the mask, thereby showing his face. A small hint to this is already been shown in the scene where Abhay reveals to Pihu that he knows the nuances of draping a sari.

While on one hand, Padma Chachi is enthusing Ram (Vikas Bhalla) to make all the needed arrangements for his marriage with Gauri, Rudr on the other hand senses somebody's hand in creating problems between him and Gauri. He also realizes that Padma Chachi might be responsible for the confusion, and will try his best to know who this lady is.

If sources are to be believed, Rudr will get into a huge confrontation with Abhay once he gets to know of the fact. There is also a possibility of Abhay being bumped off in the climax of this track. All this we hear, will happen on the day of Ram and Gauri's wedding.

We tried contacting Raunaq Ahuja and Binny Sharma, but both were unavailable for comment.

Well, this will indeed be a shocker of a revelation if Abhay turns out to be the black sheep!! Let's now wait for the D-day, i.e. 14th March to know whether this comes true or not!!

'High' on life!

"We're already high!!" said actors Iqbal Khan and Binny Sharma while shooting for the Zee TV's Holi special on the sets of Chhoti bahu. The ' Sanjog se Bani Sangini' leads were roped in to do a song and dance sequence in celebration of Holi with other artistes of the channel.
To get into the spirit of the routine, the director asked that they drink a few glasses of bhang to lend authenticity to the act. Iqbal and Binny flatly refused claiming that they were already 'high on life!!' Moreover, they had to rush back to shoot for their own show.
What is commendable is that Iqbal was just recovering from a bout of illness and yet was just as lively and emotive as always!! With a spirit like that, the man already has the ladies high on his charm and A rated good looks!!

Neelam Bhagchandani enters Sangini as the new Revathy..

The next twist in Zee TV's Sanjog Se Bani Sangini will happen with the re-entry of Rudra's sister...

Zee TV's Sanjog Se Bani Sangini has just moved out of one crisis with the death of Abhay (Raunaq Ahuja), and is all set to enter the next big phase!!

With the story taking a three month leap, Rudr (Iqbal Khan) and Gauri (Binny Sharma) have settled down and are better-off when it comes to their financial status. Pihu (Additi Gupta) who is now the responsibility of Rudr and Gauri has also undergone a transformation.

The next twist we hear, will come when Rudr's sister Revathy who is presently studying in Delhi will get back home with her husband!!

Revathy's character which was earlier played by Trishika Tiwari will now be essayed by Neelam Bhagchandani who was recently seen in COLORS' Na Aana Is Desh Laado.

Our source states, "The entire family will be shocked when Revathy comes back from Delhi after finishing her MBA studies. She will come open with the fact that she has married Ram (Vikas Bhalla). In fact, Revathy and Ram had met in Delhi and had fallen in love. They have got married now, and Rudr and his family will be forced to accept Ram as the son-in-law of the house".

We had earlier heard that the creative team was planning to get Pihu wedded to Ram. But it looks as though they have brought in Revathy's character instead.

We hear that the character of Ram will turn completely negative now, and he will be shown torturing Revathy at all times. He has been so much in love with Gauri that he uses Revathy as a tool to remove his frustration.

On the other hand, Pihu who is also with Rudr and Gauri has changed into a very positive character, and lives a life of a young widow. It is the responsibility of Rudr and Gauri to resurrect the lives of Pihu and Revathy.

Let's see how they go about achieving this..
