Rang Badalti Odhani on STAR One has taken a hilarious turn with Shaan (Karan Tacker) pretending to be pregnant, in order to make Khanak ( Yashashri Masurkar) realize the trouble that a pregnant woman goes through.
He is being ably assisted by close friends Rahul and Duck. While Shaan with his baby bump and the works is confident that his plan will work, he may be in for some disappointment.
A Starone.in source reveals, "Shaan acts out all the symptoms of pregnancy - right from morning sickness to mood swings to visiting the washroom umpteen number of times. However, he is in for a shock after Khanak, instead of changing her mind about the pregnancy, gets even more excited about experiencing it. She plays the role of a perfect husband by looking after Shaan and sympathizing with him, to show him that dealing with pregnancy becomes easier for a woman if her husband is loving and caring. Shaan is left in a Catch-22 situation with his plan completely backfiring."
Rahul aka Manish Raisinghani says "As Rahul my only concern is that Shaan should get what he wants and I will help him through this pregnancy phase. However as Manish I feel that role reversal is a beautiful idea. It adds more depth and understanding to a relationship because a person only understands a problem or an issue after they experience it first hand, especially during pregnancy when women's mood swings are at their peak and men's patience is the least handling them. I am sure that in such a situation their role reversal will help them understand and handle each other better."
