Shahid Kapoor Questions Credibility of Critics
Many people did not like the ending. But people fail to realise it was not a love story. It was about women's empowerment and class culture. A girl is insulted for her class by the friend she loved all her life just because she wanted to marry her brother. But when she qualifies and is independent she rejects her friend's offer of marrying the same brother. She has improved her class and is not interested anymore. She moves on. I liked the ending because it was about women's rights and self-respect. That is what Umera Ahmed, the writer of daam also said. Look beyond love stories guys. Awaken the woman in you!Originally posted by: mrs.karan.kundr
